Who was the best RB of all time?

(the choices come from the career leaders.)

Great question jsarno!

I had to go with "sweetness"

If it asked "favorite" it would have been a lot easier.

Riggo and Earl Campbell(slight edge going to the honorary hog!)

Riggins just missed this poll since he was 10th. (the spot that "other" occupies.)

I have to go with Barry Sanders. I did love Sweetness, but Barry was jaw dropping amazing, and he has a CAREER 5.0 yards per carry in a tough league. I would LOVE watchign him on thanksgiving, and STILL miss that to this day! He was a true joy to watch.

I always say that Barry Sanders is the best. I believe the most important stat for an individual RB is yds per carry. Only Jim Brown and Barry averaged over 5.0 yds/ carry for their careers. I give the nod to Sanders as he played in a much, much more competitive era where athletic training became a science and every position was manned by an athlete in incredible condition. Barry was the best of the best.

I went with sweetness. He carried that team on his shoulders.
