Remember Dallas from a few years ago? #1 defense..following year they ere ranked real low.

Last year, Redskins had the #3 defense. Now I hate to even think about it. I think we may have been Dallassed :(

Whatever that was had to be sick. Im still not locked on walt being burned, Look its 1v1 coverage and our 2 blitzing linebackers and 4 blitzing lineman cant put one bit of pressure on them? are we that bad?

If we can get that first down with portis on 3rd and 2 it wouldn't have mattered...until we can prove to close a game out, then we arn't gonna win games like that

It shouldn't have even come down to that if the defense was good. Can't put pressure on them and Walt Harris couldn't cover a snail.

Walt Harris is terrible. Carlos got toasted today too. I don't know why they were left one on one with WRs and Springs blitzed.

what p'ssed me off was EVERYTIME he stepped on the field he had his way, I am so sick of the same excuse about another team's back yard. we put up 35 and our D out did us. no f8 excuse!

I still laugh at people who said that Walt Harris would be a good starter for us in place of Smoot :(

ARE we bad that much on the Line? YES!

We have not had a real DLine in a few years

A midpack defense. They, more than the offense, are the reason the Redskins are 5-4 at this point. I've never seen a Redskins defense get more undeserved credit from the Skins fans than this year's defense. They are so overblown, it is sad.

I would rather have a 31st ranked defense that creates turnovers and gets sacks (ala the NY Giants) than a 7th rank defense that lives off of its press clippings. Today's display was PATHETIC...it wasn't fair to Redskins fans worldwide.

that was RIDICULOUS!!! Where are Gibbs' balls? We should have converted the 4th and been done with it! So lame...:sfight:

No way we are top 10. It keeps getting worse and worse, and I put the ownership on GW. Some of those calls were atrocious.

That would only be because we have no depth and so little talent on the defensive line. No way a DT should rule a game like that, especially the passing defense. That would be inappropriate for a NFL defense.

The defense missed Griffin and Taylor BIGTIME today. With the corners we have this year I think Williams needs to slow down on all the blitzing, they(aside from Sean Springs) just aren't getting the job done this year. I really wish we held onto Wilds...

taylor is an excelent rusher, and we cant send preilou(sp) to blitz so our rush was even worse
