You know, this team is 1-4 on the road. They haven't beaten anyone in an away since Dallas. This is not going to get us far. Gibbs keeps saying he can't wait to get back home in front of his fans and I understand that with us being undefeated at home. But, we've got to steal a couple of away games to get 10 wins. We have the following away games coming up:
at St. Louis
at Arizona
at Philadelphia
Our options are running low for away wins. I just wanted to point this out.

Agreed Mike. I alluded to this is the Gruden post. We are definetly becoming known as a team that can only win at home.

The worst part of it is that 3/4 of those losses came down to one play.

That is what makes it even more mind-boggling.Exactly, why is it that we play those away games very well (except NY) but can't get the win? What's with the turnovers, we've been trying to correct that all season. I heard Gibbs even had all of the skill positioned players carry balls around with them all day one day last week.

We've got to get the game in Arizona, Mike. I expect another shootout in St Louis and we don't know what team we will see up in Philly at the end of the year. I would love to get two of those, but I don't know. We should have had this one. This stings.

We need to take care of business at home the next 2 weeks, the St. Louis and Arizona games are there for the taking, which team shows up is the question. If we play error free we can beat anybody!!!!

I agree we need to learn how to win on the road but let's really think about it. We're still a young team and we're learning to win period. We are finally winning consistently at home. I think it'll come in time.

How long does it take to learn that you can't turn the ball over and expect to win.

That's the million dollar question my friend. You're totally right in saying that we've wasted games away. We probably have to worst turnover ratio in the league. Maybe if we can stop the turnovers and stupid penalties, we'll be a winning ball club.

Reality is a cruel, twisted Bucs fan.I'm starting to feel that way when we play them down there. This one hurts almost as bad as the playoff game of 1999.

3 out of the other 4 losses were by 10 points. ALL winnable games. :banghead:

I know that today that we were competitive all the way to the end, but at least against the Giants it was pretty clear going that it just wasn't going to be our day. This one slipped out of our hands, several times as a matter of fact.
