I didn't want to post them on the site, as they are pretty gruesome. I thought anyone interested could click the link to see the pictures of these dead bastards!

Isn't it against the Geneva Convention or something to show them?

I saw this on the news this AM, they put the question to some of the Iraqi reporters and they said that it was absolutely necessary to show these pictures in Iraq because the people would never believe the American's otherwise.

However...I didn't really need to see them....

Those are a lot better than the other picture put out by Al-gazeer (?) of our killed soldiers hours after the ambush....

It violates the Geneva Convention to release images of captured prisoners of war that are exploitive or intended to cause distress.

CarMike is right--the Al Jazeera network did air images of captured American POWs during the Iraq War. Iraq violated the Geneva accords in that instance, but Al Jazeera did not since the Conventions do not apply to non-state actors like the media.

I don't think they were that bad either, I wonder if this may force Saddam into a mistake and get himself caught

Yeah, I didn't mind us putting them out there for the Iraqi people (for confirmation). But some of them are still not convinced that it is them. Pretty obvious to me though.

The brothers may have been so feared that even with thier deaths the Iraqi people are afraid to believe it
