just scored vs. Colts, took his helmet off and raced to the closest cheerleader, kneeled down and "proposed". Now thats an endzone dance... :) I wonder what the engagement present from the NFL will be. Probably a 25k dollar ticket.

Its great to see a guy enjoying football as much as Johnson.

i like him too. i think the NFDL was just ignorant to fine him for his 'please dont fine me' sign. it really wasnt that offensive. he's got good humor, and he doesnt get in trouble off the field.

He is just someone who plays football because he loves it. TO could learn a lesson from him.

I think Chad feels that way, too. He also went over to the sideline, grabbed one of the defensive "dry-erase" boards, and wrote "T.O. - I got you."

So, he made a promise that he wouldn't be stopped ONCE today...anyone think he lived up to it???

Going for around 200 yards, I'd say he pretty much did.

:lol1: Chad's in the game for the right reasons. If the NFL fines him for what he did this week, they're just not supporting the right reasons.

yep, I guess he's total opposite of TO. Its just great to see players like Chad all fired up. It would be awesome if we could go back in time and correct THIS huge mistake made in the 2001 Draft...

15 Washington Rod Gardner WR Clemson
36 Cincinnati Chad Johnson WR Oregon State

well I hope someday we hit it big time in the draft... (maybe this year with the 2nd rounder)

I saw what he did on sportscenter last night and was like wtf. That guy is a trip and a helluva receiver. Palmer to C. Johnson will be an awesome duo for quite sometime up there in Cincinnati.

BTW, that game was a heckuva shootout. I'm starting to wonder if anyone will beat the Colts this year.

Means nothing if you lose, though.

They just had a great story about him on the NFL countdown... What a tough backround... He's a kid I just have to root for... Go Chad !

I love his celebrations and the way he lets his character out. I've been an active fan of his (checking his stats every now and then) since he sent the pepto bismo to the Cleveland (I think) db's a couple years ago lol. TO is as much a character after he scores, however his celebrations are tainted by his "me first" attitude in all places other than the football field. Additionally, Chad prolly wouldn't have did the Cowbay star stand though.
