Mike Sellars Hospitalized

I just heard on the Radio that Sellars was hospitalized after the game. Any news or links on this?

I heard this right after the game...I haven't heard any updates since then though.

Elsewhere on the injury front, H-back/tight end Mike Sellers suffered what the team called bruised ribs on a punt return in the second half.

Although Sellers returned to action, he was taken to a local hospital after the game for further evaluation. His status will be updated on Monday.

The Post said he had broken ribs, and I'll side with the worst-case scenario.

so do we know how long he is out? our offense is really going to struggle now with only moss, cooley, and portis as options... we need some people to step up.

Great guy and an even better contributor.He hustled all around...I hope he makes a full recovery.

I just hope he doesn't pull a McNabb and come back too early...rest, heal, and come back better next year.Our team isn't at a playoff level yet, he should hold off till' next year and play fully healthy.

I heard he went to the hospital after the game but it's really unfortunate that that illegal hit resulted in broken ribs. I'm amazed the guy went out there on Special Teams and the was tackled again by the SAME scumbag. Get better Mike!
