I thought this might stir up interesting conversation. Here is the stats for the NFC east so far:
W-L/pts for/ pts against
Dallas 7-3-0 222 164
NY Giants 7-3-0 281 184
Washington 5-5-0 200 201
Philadelphia 4-6-0 210 232
We are playing way too close. Granted we lost to the giants 36-0 and that we won 52-17 against the niners. All that really matters is W-L but we are not winning enough and we are not a team who pulls away in games often. The giants are up almost 100 pts on the competition and the cowgirls are up 58 pts on the competition. I dont like these stats. they worry me. any other ideas or thoughts?

These stats just show how many close, close games we've played...and how many we've lost (as denoted by the one extra pt. for opposing teams). It's kinda depressing.

i really dont think the giants have the best D but they have given up the fewest points and I dont think the eagles have the worst D but they have given up the most points. It has to do with Offense and time of possession and what not but i still think its very interesting and doesnt make me happy. Id really like to see a blowout and with arizona and stl coming up i think one of those is a blowout. san diego is gonna be close and i really hope for a win.

All of Dallas' points come against the lions, cardinals and that blow out in Philly. Every other game has been close(including a game against San Fran. The lions and cardinals suck. So kudos to them for beating Philly.(57 of the 58 point difference).
NY is almost same deal. Most of their points come against the cardinals and San Fran and New Orleans. And of course the womping they put on us.(94 of the 97 point difference)
If anything all this stat says too me is that Dallas and NYG have had a much easier schedule than us. And NYG wooped our butts. Other than that I see nothing to oogle about thier style of play. The only games our teams play different ARE:
Dallas got to play Detriot and Seattle(1 tough game)
NYG got to play NO and the Vikings(Niether tough...plus an extra home game)
We got to play the Bears and Tampa...both division leaders.
Everybody came out 1-1. Add in the fact that they have both played cardinals and we haven't. I'm not really that impressed by either the cowboys or NYG. I think they've both had easier schedules. I think NYG has had a REAL easy schedule and Dallas has had a marginally easier schedule and has managed to win a couple more close ones than us.
Edited for extra tidbits

Those numbers, along with the fact that we are -13 in turnovers, tell me we should be happy to be 5-5.

Hasn't GB outscored it oppenents so far this year and yet aren't they 2-7? The TO differnce is a much bigger stat then this, IMO.
