Had to go with Marshall since he scored our on TD. The play of the game has to be LaVar's goal-line stand on Jordan. How sweet was that!!!

Had to be Marshall, he balled it up today.
Our O was putrid.

I said no one. Marshall got a TD on an INT and then game up a TD only a crazy mismatch. When you're calling out the defensive alignments, those two plays even things out for me.

Marshall. He can outscore our entire offense and have pretty good coverage on a good reciever.

Marshall, a somewhat bright light on a dim day.

It's tough to draw any positive from Sunday's performance and I couldn't bring myself to single ANYONE out. I picked no one but if anyone deserves credit it should probably be Lemar. He scored a VERY RARE Redskins Defensive touchdown but he also was covering Porter of all people and that play killed us.

You can't really fault him for being slower than Jerry Porter.

He's the defensive signal caller. He's supposed to align the defense. If the QB sees 9 men coming at him in a blitz and doesn't switch out of the play, he's to blame. Shouldn't the defensive signal caller carry the same burden?

Marshall, he actually scored the only TD of the game for us!

Shouldn't the defensive signal caller carry the same burden?I don't know. I mean the purpose on the play is to rush the passer and get pressure within 2 to 3 seconds and if he is expecting that to work I don't see why he would make an adjustment. I think if the play goes as planned and Collins is pressured early when he throws the ball there should be the majority of the secondary hovering around that area.

Alright then. But, to be fair, Kerry Collins was just as involved on both of Marshall's plays as he was. Maybe I should vote for him out of spite? :)

Agree. I'm voting "no one" after a loss like that.

I thought Marshall did OK. It is easy to pick no one, but we need Marshall to pick things up and he did Sunday.
TJ had better get as lot better..this week!

would like to say no one, but here's why I took Marshall.
Oakland only scored 1 TD on offense and it wasn't his fault. He was one on one with a WR who had a step on him, but he NEVER QUIT running with him as much as he could and showed me he could keep up with nearly any TE in football! Just in time too, here comes Antonio Gates.
Marshall scored the team's only TD, was all over the field in holding the Raiders to a low enough score for ANY team in the NFL to overtake them, but the Redskins Offense NEVER scored a TD.
So he's the man this week.

I don't believe you can be an MVP in a Loss. It seems oxymoronic to me.

Jerry Porter on offense
Nnamdi Asomougha on D
I saw someone post that they were looking forward to seeing what our young CBs could do.

i voted nobody. came close to saying portis, but his 2 fumbles were killer. lemar marshall gave up the TD to porter, and i dont see why he's always covering them, he gets beat alot.

Marshall had a pretty good game...he scored our only TD.So I gave it to him over the "no one" option.

Marshall easily. Scored a touchdown, forced a fumble, and had 8 tackles. Nice job by Lemar.

I voted for Cooley only because he was really our only positve on Offense and Marshall gave up that big play.

Actually, I wonder how funny it would be to have the goalpost in your sig LadyN. Would be absolutely a blast.

its 20 - 17 for marshall, so i guess he will be the first defensive player to be honored in my sig. i didnt get to see which vote broke the tie, so im just going to go with what i see right now.

It was for "no one" by RedskinRyan, but like you said, you've got to go with what it is now. Persoanlly, I have a hard time honoring anybody after that game.
