okay here are some players id like to see the field more let me know if you can think of any.

Demetric Evans- this guy plays with fire and even does a decent job. good motor

Nick Clemmons- Im ready to shut down Wynn and Daniels they are good run stoppers but that has been it. 10 games in things arent gonna change time for fresh blood on the lines

With Betts out again id like a dose of Nemo in spots. Rock is a good ST player but im hoping for more out of Nemo.

Id like to see one of the young Tackles or someone in instead of Royals. Ill take the defense knowing he is only a run blocker if at least they will BLOCK.

Finally id like to see Portis on the field more. Stop letting him take himself out for Blows. That stratagy Blows it leaves us with no serious threat of a run and Ds just send the house.

I sort of agree with you but I'm not ready to give up and throw in the youngsters until we're mathematically out. I'd like to see Zack Keasy(sp?) and Robert McCune as well. WE need to see if these guys are worth a roster spot next year or what. Besides, Lemar hasn't exactly been a stand out and Training Camp under Gibbs is always an open competition for every position. I'd also like to see more of Nic Clemons. HE showed the kind of Darell Green-esque heart when he tried to chase down frank gore. I was very impressed by that. I'd also like to see a heavy dose of Nemo and Maybe even JCamp in mop up duty or something.

I agree. I would also add Carlos Rogers to that list. If we drafted a CB top 10 and he can't overtake Walt "Who's My Man Again?" Harris by Week 12, then we might've been sold a bill of goods on him.

To have a little more fun, here is my list of folks who need to see the field LESS:

Frost: Wanna know why he's great at nailing it inside the 20 when we have the ball on the 50? It's because he can't kick further than 30 yards.

Daniels: To old, too slow or just not good enough? Hell I don't know. He just sucks, okay?

Holdman: A crappier version of Daniels

Rock: I love your heart, but you're just not very good.

Jacobs: In ancient Hebrew, the word "Jacob" means B-U-S-T.

Royal: Marking time as a placeholder for the TE roster spot.

Harris: If Harris is on the field, then Rogers is not working his way into the #2 CB slot. So long Walt and thanks for all the fish.

Yeah but he's been so "impressive" on the practice field.

DING DING DING!!!!

We have a winner. I mean how much discipline does it take to rush the passer?

Chris Clemons

I know he's undersized, but I think we need to sneak him in there on some 1st and 2nd downs. He is the only guy on our roster who has shown the ability (this year) to get pressure off the edge.

Got a piece of Collins arm, causing the INT for a TD.
Blew by Gallery and sacked Collins on a 3rd and 25 from the 40...A 5-10 yard pickup puts them in Janikowski's range.

Caused 2 of the few positive plays in the Giants game when he got to Eli, leading to Clark's pick in the end zone, and sacked Eli on a 3rd and goal.

Im not giving up by any means. I honestly think the guys im suggesting get more playing time might be better players. I find it hard to believe they could be much worse. If I was giving up id be talking about letting Campbell get reps but theres no way id put him in at 5-5, 5-8 maybe but right now im talking about upgrading the current players with guys who want to fight for playing time. This coaching staff seems just a little reluctant to get new guys on the field. i.e. ST a year ago, Rodgers this year, Ramsey for Brunnell last year when he was hurt. Just my opinion though.

I know, what is up with that. Hmmm lets see, we have no pass rush so lets take our best pass rusher out on 3rd downs??????????????? I really thought we would see him at DE on 3rd and long but I guess it's not gonna happen.

I want the Clemmons bros. on the field as much as possible. I think they feed off of one another, and anything, and I mean anything would be an improvement over the DL we have now. They're a joke w/o Griffin.

Carlos needs to be starting from here out. Harris needs to be on the 3rd WR, not a starter.

Nemo, I want him in there just so we can see how he can move a pile. I think he would provide a much needed punch to run up the gut.

I wholeheartidly agree that Gibbs needs to run Portis right into the ground. I know he needs a spell, but not every 2-3rd play. I have not seen him on 4 consecutive plays just about all year.

Edit: How about Robert Johnson? I mean the dude is huge, and has to be better than Royal.

i like this list, and assuming you mean Chris Clemons, i'd like to also see what his brother Nic can do on the end.

Lavar to stay in the game.

Portis...as in Do Not Abandon the Run.

Absolutely. Chris Clemons is about the only player who provides consistent pressure on the QB. Maybe put him in at DE and turn him loose even. Somehow, he should see more than just 3rd down or a couple plays a drive.

i once saw Jaws diagram a play by the Pats on defense where they had a package in the game that featured 4 linebackers across the defensive line, and 7 DB's. how about Lavar, Washington, Chris Clemons and Nic Clemons on the line, with Lemar Marshall, Springs, Rogers, Harris, Taylor, Bowen and Clark behind them.

That sounds really interesting. It'd be cool to see the Clemons brothers side by side playing in the NFL, too.

Royal has to go.

Nemo to end the game with the 3rd down conversion and the guy can catch out of the backfield.

DL is not getting any pressure so a undersized guy couldn't be any worse!

My number one gripe is frost. Field position is everything.

My number one need is nemo. With sellers out i think we should let nemo do some lead blocking and some short option passes.

In terms of royal he has been disappointing, i had high hopes for him. I would give robert johnson a shot. What i wouldn't do is give Kozlowski more playing time.

As everyone is saying no Lavar on 3rd down passing situations is confusing. It seemed like at the beginning of the year he was only used to rush the passer. Now we don' t let him rush the passer? Maybe i am confused.

Think we could see mccune as the wedge buster?...we need a big quick guy to sub in for sellers.

I have a feeling we are soon to see NEMO returning kicks....hopefully we see him in the backfield instead of cartwright also.

Time for me to whip out my good ol' #47.. no thats taken... #88.. no taken... #80.. no taken.. #84? .. taken..

Ok, well all the numbers I have ever been have been taken. Throw me a jersey, then throw me the ball. I still got it. No more WR woes, I provide a possession reciever over 6 feet!

Yeah, I saw that too. I can't remember who the team was but they audibled to a run up the middle and got like 20 yards on the play.

The Pats could pull that formation off when they had Rodney, and I'm pretty sure that was against the Bills.

I think they need to begin to work McCune in the line up. Not becuase he deserves it, but he would help us get blitz happy 3-4 scheme back on the field. It just couldnt work with Holdman becuase he could not get off a block so they had to play Lavar in the middle which neutralized him essentially. I think GW may be scared to do it because of what the Giants did to us in the 3-4 but we are better suited for it now with legit big Mike backer. (Size wise at least)

We could also overload blitz one side of the line with Clemons the OLB and either Marcus or Lavar playing the ILB.

With McCune you can also keep Lavar and Marcus on the edges where they could rush the passer at will. With McCune at 245lbs in the middle along with Marshall I think we are better suited to hold up lineman now. This will give us 3 strong linebackers who all weigh over 240. This way our weak pass rushing DE's can play to thier strengths which is standing up O lineman and stuffing the run. Also, Demetric Evans would be a perfect fit as a 3-4 end.

I think it can work and at least it will get our best pass rushers in better posistion to make a play on the QB.
