Including Antonio Brown. Redskins also worked out rookies Taco Wallace, Willie Quinnie, and Carl Kearney. No word on Kevin Dyson.

Good deal! C'mon AB, just hold on to the ball and let the rest take care of itself. We need some more blazing speed out there. I haven't heard of any of these rooks. Anybody know anything about them?

I can only hope that AB has worked on his game BUT I didn't hear of any signings yet.

This sort of confirms what I suspected about Dyson -- he's not in football shape.

Dyson is that last of that list I would want.

I'd go after Taco, but maybe that is because I am hungry.

TACO Wallace???

Now this sounds like a guy we need on the team. And I've never even heard of him....

Taco was a 7th rd draft pick for Seattle in '03. He made the team that year and last year but did absolutely nothing during the regular season. He had a brief stint with the Packers this year. Next stop- the CFL or the Arena league.

Note to the FO: When you're working out a WR named "Taco", you may have hit the bottom of the barrel. ;)

Jimmy Farris was signed Monday. In the last Redskins' pre-season game against the Ravens, Farris was pretty much all the offense we had. He had 4 catches for 76 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Does anyone think he'll be on the field as a reciever, or will he be strictly special teams?

I remember being surprised when he was cut.If he's comfortable with the playbook by Sunday, he'll play from scrimmage. The Redskins don't have a choice.

If we run any 3 WR sets, which we did a lot of against the Raiders, Farris will have to be on the field.

the idea of the practice squad is to bring in someone who can play when you are hit hard by the injury bug. bringing in someone off the street should not even be an option. a guy from someone else's practice squad would be better than that, but our guys are the ones who know our system at this late point in the season. if we are bringing in guys off the street now then we must not be too happy with the guys we chose for the PS. Farris is going to have to get it done. we gotta go with Moss, Jacobs and Farris, maybe Antonio Brown.

The fact that we brought in so many new faces tells me they are unhappy with Taylor Jacobs and will be experimenting with some previous players to go with Moss. Jacobs will get another few games to prove himself, but his leash is getting smaller and the competition is getting hotter with these new guys.

i agree with you even though i have been one of Jacobs' biggest supporters on here. when he finally got his chance, he let me down, over and over, so i'm skeptical now and he has to really prove himself for me to believe he's a bonified NFL receiver and not just a stupid Spurrier pick and another in the long list of Florida Gator receiver busts.
