He would have been a HOF if not for the injuries...he was a beast..He was also a class act. What really kills me is seeing how badly he wants to come back but his body just won't let him.

it's when i look at guys like jamal anderson and terrell davis when i feel that barry sanders made the right decision to retire when he did.

look what td and jam have done. anderson had one 1000 yard season(his average ypc was below 4). davis had one 100 yard game versus the jets. i remember anderson injured his knee again in week 2 versus carolina. did davis get hurt again as well?
