Anyone watch this show?
I TiVo it every Tuesday. I even Netflixed the first two seasons to catch up on the Episodes that I missed.
Anyone think Christian is actually going to marry Kimber (if he doesn't, I'll volunteer, she is very forgiving).
Julia doesn't deserve Sean either, after all she had to know that Matt was Christian's son all those years.
Anyone else?

I used to watch in the first season... Partly because the show was interesting and partly because they always had very attractive women on the show. Now... I do not even have cable.

What?! I didn't realize that. Would be a cool spin, though.
P.S. I've never watched the show before. But I'm a big "House" fan(its the only show I watch regularly) and "Nip/Tuck" is on right afterwards(on a different channel, but I'm a surfer). So I've seen the last few episodes, I find it pretty enjoyable. Wierd as balls, but enjoyable.

I will say with 95% certainty that she was kidnapped, most likely by the carver. When she's getting ready to be married and she hears her dressing room door open she calls for Sean who was supposed to walk her down the isle. You then see in the mirror nothing but black as the door is being opened. You don't actually see the carver, but whatever was at the door certainly wasn't sean because (a) when sean was talking to christian after she left he acted as if he hadn't talked to or seen kimber before she left and (b) she wouldn't have left a hastily written note in red lipstick on the mirror if sean had been with her before she took off.
I wouldn't neccesarily call the show wierd. In my opinion it's dark in that it tests the viewers' perception of morality. In this sense it's one of the few shows on tv that I don't feel like I'm just killing time when I watch it.

Christian seems to be tested in that sense more and more each episode....he is struggling with it, IMO.

It's really interesting how Christian and Sean have swapped moral roles this season. Sean has always been considered the more righteous of the two, but he has come unravelled this year, turning him into a reluctant villian. On the other hand, Christian has accepted a level of ethical responsibility that goes with his work and that coupled with the show revealing more details into his past, has caused us as an audience to have sympathetic leanings towards his character. However, this has largely obscured the ambiguous ethical nature of his engagement to Kimber and Sean's negative portrayal manipulates our feelings towards several of his actions such as his involvement with the witness protection woman.

Exactly. Once Sean stepped out of the practice and that new guy Diego stepped in, Christian assumed Seans' role.

Well, for those still watching, Christian seems to be taking Kimber's walkout of the wedding hard. I wonder if she is leaving the show. It's hard to tell from the last show if the carver kills her at the end. He had here write that letter to Christian which led me to believe he was going to keep her for himself.
On a separate note, does anyone think that Quentin is the carver?

I think so as well.
I watch this show every Tuesday as well and Tivo the ones i cant see. i have been watching since day one and this is one of my favorite shows.
Kimber getting kidnapped was a good edition. I have a feeling that Christian wont find out for quite some time. And i cant believe what Quentin was doing the last show(or should i have said what he received).
Does anyone else want to beat Matt down for all the stuff he is doing?? He is just one messed up kid who looks like Michael Jackson!

I don't think it's Quentin even though as McNamarra/Troy's biggest adversary he's the obvious choice. The nature of the Carver's crimes has been to prove a point, instead of killing his/her victims the carver disfigures them and threatens anyone who dares repair them. From an ethical standpoint Quentin makes Sean and Christian look like Saints. Would a corrupt plastic surgeon like Quentin take an ethical stance against the unnatural beautification of people? That doesn't add up to me and if Quentin was the Carver I'd be extremely dissapointed and expect an explanation for his behavior sans Carver mask.
My best guess is that the Carver is either Matt's post-op transexual ex-lover or the woman with AIDS who works with Julia and was Christian's ex-girlfriend. It needs to be someone close to the main characters because the Carver knows them too well. I know that Christian was raped by the Carver but that can be explained easily, but need not be explained here. Also, notice that the Carver never physically overwhelms its victims. It uses the the element of suprise and uses drugs to paralize its victims. I think it's a woman.

Anyone watch tonights episode? If not stop reading...
**SPOILERS**
I was getting bored watching Julia talk to her dead "mother" so I was flipping back and forth. When I came back she was holding a pillow over her face. Did she come back to life for a minute and Julia decided to kill her?

Yup, Julia's a killer. The person who came back to life wouldn't have made it anyway though.

Ya, Julia kissed her on the forehead and was walking away when she came back to life. then she smothered her and killed her. It was tough to watch but you knew that person probably wasnt going to survive.

Looking at the previews for tonights show it looks like they are going to find out who the Carver is in this season finale. Anyone have any idea who it is?
I thought it was Quentin but that would be to obvious.

Read post 15 of this thread for my thoughts on the Carver. I saw a preview where they were arresting the lesbian anastesiologist with curly hair who's name I forget, but it looked like it was intended to throw us off. Anyways, I have a hockey game tonight so I have to wait till Sunday the season finale.

To avoid spoilers for those who TiVoed it, I'll leave it simple.
Are people satisfied with the outcome of the carvers identity?
I've only been watching the show for 5-6 episodes, but I was pretty disappointed. Maybe it would add up better and be more satisfying if I'd been watching all along but I thought it was a bit of a let down.
On the plus side, the developments with the son were pretty darn interesting.

I guess you can say im satisfied with their identity. But im not satisfied of the ending, i thought it should have ended differently.
The son did take an interesting turn. At first i was severly POed about him but in the end it ended pretty good.

I got home 15 minutes into the show so I sucked it up and watched. Plot wise, I was a little dissapointed in the carvers identity. It seemed overwrought. I'm also dissapointed because I thought that Quentin was even more morally depraved than Sean and Christian. He was the one who was willing to perform any cosmetic surgery no matter how ethically questionable it was. You'd think he'd take a stand against cosmetic surgery for an 80 year old when he goes around and cuts people up to prove a point. However, the episode itself was fantastic. It made up for a boring second half of the season.
Btw, I was wrong about Quentin not being the Carver, but I was right on about another part of the equation. ;)

He is, but I don't think it would be that bad if we weren't expected to believe he's just a high school student.

If they let it go like that, without bringing those characters back next season, I will be a little disappointed.
I also thought the Matt/Cherry/Ariel's father triangle could have been improved with Arial shooting her dad, if that's indeed what they did. I don't know how Matt expects to get away with that whole deal, knowing Ariel wasn't willing to help Matt when she had the chance, how is she going to feel if Matt watched her father die? Having her shoot him could have brought her (Ariel) character back from the edge of a very dark place.
