On November 24, 2002, Tom(Spence) and I started a new site called, hailRedskins.com, or for short, hR! Kenny (rskinsfan10), Mike (hail2skins), and Mike (Carmike) were quickly brought aboard as full partners and owners of hR. Our concept was simple. High quality discussion based on knowledge and inference, friendly interaction that builds friendships throughout the community, and a forum that is classy and suitable for all members of a family. We really have not strayed much from those three fundamental principles. Althougth the mission continues to develop, continues to progress, and continues to revise, those three fundamental basics still control the philosophy of the hR Admins and our terrific group of Moderators.

To that, I specially recognize our INCREDIBLE Moderator team on hR's Birthday --> dj_stouty (our Chief Mod!), joedaschmoe, Keino, IowaSkinsFan, Patrick, Axegrinder, LadyNRedskinfan, RedskinsDave

But more than all that, it is YOU, the Members, who embraced those fundamentals, endorsed those values, and instilled those core aspects to make hR what it is. We have had typical challenges with growth, troll problems, and have undergone the downsides of growth, such as multiple topic threads, thoughtless topics, etc...but we take pride in cracking down on that, possibly seeming heavy-handed at times, but in essence, defending, maintaining, and forwarding those three basic fundamentals of hR. What has warmed us more than anything is YOU the members have closely gaurded, take control, and endorsed and enforced those very values we call, the hR Community Culture.

I take pride in this site because of what you all have developed. I thank you from the bottom of my heart in your quest to keep this forum in focus, in step, and in place!

Redskins fans are the best in the world, you see it at games, you see it in your friends, and you see it at other excellent fan forums like Extremeskins, theWarpath.net, and thehogs,net. They all, just like hR have incredible fans, devoted to this great franchise. Despite past problems with a forum, those are in the past, and to them we say, Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving! I take the opportunity right now to applaud each of them, the ytruly all show, we are the best fanbase in the NFL!!!!

You guys and gals have made this community the success it is, and what a fitting birthday present to you all, ...other than a victory on Sunday versus San Diego and hR being the home of former Redskins great and nationally syndicated sports talk host Rick 'Doc' Walker!

I've gone on and on in the past about how great this place is, and I don't think it can be said enough. I feel like my passion for this team has grown 10-fold since joining here, mostly because of the love and passion I see all of you have.

The owners and mods are the best, and you guys work endlessly to make this the greatest Skins site on the web... and I think you've succeeded. You guys are like a second family to me, and I hope I get to meet as many of you as possible at the Giants game on Christmas Eve.

Happy B-Day, hR! And let me just say that I am very appreciative for the work you guys do up here. Not only is this site the best Redskins site on the web, but it keeps getting better, adding the Blog, Bang! cartoons and Rick "Doc" Walker just in the last six months or so. Add in the best membership with the best tailgates and I really don't know why anybody would go anywhere else to get their Redskins fix. I don't.

Wow...three years old already? I can't believe I've been here a year already and am proud to say I've met and chatted with some of the coolest people around. Nice to know the B&G is represented with such knowledgable and loyal fans throughout the world. What is even nicer is that we all have a place to come and share our thoughts on the Skins or anything else for that matter.
