Basketball Games

Was wondering if anyone has gotten any of the Basketball games for PS2?

I am debating on which game to get either NBA Live 06, ESPN Basketball 06, or NBA the Life 06. Anyone played any of these with any suggestions?

I've been playing Live since 95...i have this year's version and the NBA 2K6...in my opinion you will like NBA 2K6 better if you are more into realistic bball games...I don't even play Live anymore...strictly 2k6...I wanna try the other NBA game out though.

I got NBA 2k6. I never played Live, but I've read that 2k6 is better. Like Dre-The-Great said, it's mucho more realistic, there a plenty of features, many of which I still don't know how to use. The graphics are ok, not great by any means.

I have wanted to play NBA the life but I have never gotten around to it. I totally understand that this post doesn't help you in any way, but I am going to post it anyway.

I've played 2K6. It's SICK, but defense is really hard.

I just got the EA sports game for Christmas, and I couldn't even finish one game it stunk so bad. Now I got the NCAA game a couple years ago and loved it... So I don't know. My opinion is probably meaningless.

Well I ended up getting NBA Live 06. Its not too bad little strange with new playmaker features basically allowing your star to score at will. I also gave up 53 points to Allen Iverson in my first game of my season. So I'll see how it goes.

I have Live, but I haven't played it since probably the week i bought it. Waste of money.

Basketball games are so terrible. Either theyre way to arcade style (throw the ball downcourt, hold turbo, and dunk it), or theyre not fun video games where its all sim.

Instead of playing basketball videogames, try staring at the ceiling. IMO, its a lot more fun

They need to make basketball games more like Madden... Like more in depth and more control
