What have you heard about Gilbert visiting the Redskins and whats your view?

Is it because of not being able to re-sign Wilkerson?

I don't think many of us knew he was visiting... or at least i didn't.

I'm all for it, we just need a big body to fill space, Big Daddy not restructuring his deal is selfish and I hope we can get that bad seed outta here... besides with all his comments last year, he shouldn't even be around...

so is Ahman sharing the load this year? He seems like a back that gets better with more carries.... what do you think?

where have you heard that? i would welcome gilbert here for the minimum at least. its his health that bothers me though.

on wilkinson.....the skins really want to release him so they are looking for an adequate starter so big daddy can bounce his tail outta DC!

Ahman of course is the starter but they plan on giving him 'more breathers' because of his asthma and the pounding he dishes out and receives.

Lot of people here are really excited about Najeh Davenport who is healed and showing huge upside as Green's backup....could be a fantasy sleeper if Ahman goes down.

i think that gilbert brown crosses the line. you want a NT to be big, but as someone mentioned earlier, that leads to more injuries. i would take washington over brown.

I used to be a Big Daddy fan. I don' t want people on the team that can't be positive. I really hope Big Daddy gets let go at this point. :niceday: I know if he gets picked up by another team, he will only get minimum. :crazy: It's not like he had a "Banner Freakin' Year" last season. :smash: Wasn't he last in takles for D Linemen. I am very disappointed in Dan. I know we could get Gilbert Brown for less than $3.5 million. We need to make this happen before Big Daddy fakes a ACL pull or something. We don't need this kind of mess in a camp filled with so many new faces. Hell, we have enough vet. leadership without him and we don't need that kind of leadership at all.

i agree that Bid (classic Carmike) won't get paid anywhere else and we should cut ties before we are on the hook for that 3.5...

you know the bears will hold on to washington as long as they can, trying to make us trade for him. Plus we play chicago this year... so i don't know how likely we can land him. Gilbert and a free agent that gets waived in TC might be a better fit than Bid...
