Tom Kowalski, of the Booth Newspapers, reports for the Sporting News that Detroit Lions rookie WR Charles Rogers injured his hamstring during minicamp and it has not fully healed. The team wants to wait until the problem is cleared before turning him loose in practice. Rogers will be learning all three wide receiver positions during training camp.

Lets pray that this stays away from the Skins. I know pulling a hamstring is likely for someone, I just hope its not serious...

Man thats sucks...as a rookie you need all the reps you can get in training camp.

That may be a serious injury. You would think that a hamstring injury that occurred back in April (I'm assuming) would have healed by now if he was resting it the way that he should have.

maybe he was trying to work it back and went a little too hard. I hope he is ok, I think Joey Harrington and him will be fun to watch

They can last awhile if not treated properly.

He has a big job ahead of him... learning ALL three WR positions!
