while currently consuming a good ol' bottle of Miller High Life, it sparked a random thought in my head - I wonder what other Redskins fans prefer to drink at a tailgate, during the game on TV, or in celebration of a victory - in other words, whats your favorite brand of beer?
Choose wisely.
[I can't make a poll, so just choose from the following list, or post your favorite]
Budweiser
Miller
Coors
Pabst
Rolling Rock
Yuengling
Heineken
Dos Equis
Guinness
Corona

Definitely none of the choices listed. I don't have a favorite because I enjoy different styles of beer with the seasons. I will say my favorite style of beer is Octoberfest/Marzen. Dominion(VA, USA) and Spaten(Munich, Germany) both make very good Octoberfest brews.

don't drink often enough to have a favorite, but here are my general opinions on beers. The two Irish beers I had on tap at the hometown pubs that brew them, so I can't vouch for them if you went out and bought a can of it here in America, but they were damn good over there.(not even sure if you CAN buy them here in America)
I like:
Miller
Coors
Killkenny (Irish Beer)
Smithwicks (Irish Beer)
I don't like:
Corona
Yuengling (Even though every one of my damn friends LOVE it...)

Corona is good, but I enjoy good old Miller for an average buy...even though its no longer American in reality haha
When it comes to more expensive, give me a good Dos Equis any day :)

I am a true American redneck. Budweiser is probably what I drink most, I also like Killians, Red Stripe and some seasonal ales. Corona is the worst beer ever created IMO.

BTW - How does the Shiner Bock Light taste? We can't get it up here...and the original Shiner Bock isn't helping my diet.
I need to have a talk with someone over at Wegmans. If they can get Shiner Bock and Shiner Weffeveisen (sp) distributed to Virginia, they can get Shiner Bock LIGHT distributed here. :banghead:

Now that I'm a member of the real world and have a big stack of bills to pay my favorite beer is whatever is left over in the locker rooms after my hockey games. I usually go home with a couple PBRs and a couple Bud Lights. I hate Miller High Life, but I even took some of those home with me the other night.

Well, seeing how I'm a Redskins fan, I like to pop open a bottle of '82 Lafite-Rothschild, or maybe a '61 Latour, and nibble on some slightly aged sheep's milk cheese.

I'm off to Munich in May :). If I still lived in Nova I'd bring you back a case direct from the source.

Same reason Dinkel Acker doesn't.

I don't believe Leinenkugels is distributed too far outside the Midwest. A few years ago, our local N. VA grocer had some...but pulled it off the shelves, Im guessing, for poor sales.
I had some in Chicago and it was very tasty.

The geography of this particular brand is very intriguing. For example, did you know that when B.O.B. was built in Arizona, the put a Leinie's berwery in the stadium? It may still be there.
Also, I'd be willing to bet that no one knows that Leinie's was bought by Miller Brewing Company. You see, Leinie's has a very diverse portfolio of beers and by virtue of Miller buying the company they gained instant market diversification and share. They only product that Miller does not allowed to be stocked in most markets is Leinie's Light, for obvious reasons.

Simply because those beers are not household names. I've never heard of leinenkugel's but I'll give it a shot when I come across some.
