I'm glad that they ruled in favor of the kid and we stand a chance to actually do something this year. I'm sure a number of people don't like it, but I'm thrilled we'll have him back in five games.

I really don't agree or understand the decision. The guy had agents pay for all of his NBA workouts! How is that not a violation of his total eligibility??? I just don't understand and I'm kinda scared the precident this sets with future college kids dealing with agents.

Him coming back will defintely help the 'Cats out alot. They didn't live up to their billing against UNC a couple weeks ago. He will help out alot. Very good player.

The NBA teams reimbursed his expenses for his workouts. It was $7000, but he paid it back to them as well. SFX only sent out word on his behalf and fronted $75 for a fee, which was also confusion on his dad's part. I doubt the precedent means much because Morris can never be drafted now (per NBA rules) and can never earn a guaranteed contract. I doubt any aspiring NBA player wants to put themselves in that situation.

But now he gets to go back to Kentucky and work on his game. I agree with Shaggy on this one. But in the end, I hope it works out for the guy. Hope he gets his chances and makes the most with them. Even if I don't agree with the decision.

there was some shady business going on at Kentucky with this. According the Louisville newpaper that they had some documents saying something about it and that when they were asked for them that they were not there but when this all happened then the documents showed up again.
