probably his best option. what more could he possibly do at USC? he's got a heisman, some NC's under his belt with a good chance of another to come. although the thing i didnt know, is lendale white is actually USC's career leader in TD's, so maybe he wants to break that too.

Look how much money Leinart stands to lose this year. If he would have come out last year, he'd been the #1 pick. Now he'll be lucky to be a top 3 pick. That is if Young comes out.

Bush needs to do what's best for him, and that's to come out and play in the NFL. Whether or not they beat Texas.

i would too if i were Bush. He's going to be the No. 1 pick and he just won the Heisman Trophy. He's about to play for his 3rd National Title. I mean who wouldn't but you got give Leinart credit for staying. You can talk about how he will lose draft position but i'd rather go to the Jets than the Texans.

This is interesting. I didn't really even know he was considering coming back to USC. This is what Matt Leinart should have done last season. However, it looks like it will work out well for Leinart coming out next season so maybe he really does know more than us experts.

I don't know, Mike. If Leinart goes #3, there isn't that much of a disparity between #1 and #3 is there? Plus, the rookie pool is bound to increase, so maybe is actually works out to be about the same. Then, there are all of those fine USC women he got to date for another year as BMOC. Can you really put a price tag on that? :D

Maybe he could be a picky crybaby like Eli Manning and refuse to play for a team outside of Florida or California. Those women would be hard to give up and I'm guessing he can't take all of them with him.

That's OK. All of those women know him as Raymond Venezuela. ;)

I don't have the #s, but I thought the #1 pick received a way larger signing bonus than the #2 or #3 guy. :whoknows:

Good point about the Southern Cali women....lol

I don't have the #s, but I thought the #1 pick received a way larger signing bonus than the #2 or #3 guy. That is accurate and Eli Manning and the "I look like a bust" Alex Smith have nicely made that happen. Outrageous signing bonuses for both. Smith hasn't earned a dime of his. These kids piss me off when they come out into the nfl and make their demands and haven't done squat. Manning and Smith both rubbed me the wrong way with these demands.

Why does everybody think that Young is going to be a top pick in the draft? Has he done something spectalur taht I haven't noticed. Last time I checked, you still needed to be able to pass in the NFL to be a good QB. Vick's rep is what gets him in the pro bowl. Lienrt will most likely go to the saints.

Because money means everything.

Matt Leinart would not trade this past year for all the money in the world. The guy was king of Los Angeles for a year. And considering who lives in this town, that is no small feat. And Vince Young or not he's still a top 3 pick in next year's draft.

Probably was king, but I heard this story and got the pictures emailed to me of Leinrt wasted getting rejected by this chic. Later, she asked a friend if he had heard of a guy named Matt Weintart. Man, she must feel stupid.

That's not even a joke, I'd happily trade 5% of my money for one year to have that kind of fun.

Bush should come out. He'll never again recieve the type of positive press he is getting right now. Right now he is the next Gale Sayers, at his size you would hate to see him go back to college and take a serious hit and have his career jeopardized.

Apperently Texas fans are sick and tired of hearing about Bush and all mighty USC. Funny stuff.
