Hey for all you big boys that can post in the REAL forums, can u ask how the 12th man was? I havent seen a thread on it yet.

I was there, and making as much noise as possible, and I know the fans made a difference. But how was the atmosphere compared to other games this year at home, particularly the Eagles sunday night game and the seahawks game?

HUZZAH!!! DALLAS GOT OWNED!

It was loud!

I think Fox played with the audio going into the commercials after the PAT's because you could barely hear HTTR playing.

The 12th man was ridiculously loud, nice job. We need the exact same thing next week.

It seems that it's been louder at other times, but to be honest I was yelling so loud this time I doubt I could have really been able to tell for sure. But there was something going on tonight I've never witnessed before. The fans were thirsty for blood. It's normally a pretty "nice and pleasant" stadium, but people (myself included) were screaming for more. "Kill em! KILL THEM!", "Pile it on!", "Screw you Tuna!", etc. It was real, it was angry, there was a feeding frenzy and an overwhelming sense of "our time is due". Unlike anything I've ever seen. And boy was there a lot of high fives and love amongst the faithful. The walk of shame turned into a gauntlet of fear! It was priceless. It really was. And it really seems FedEx is gaining an identity, helped in no small part by the significant improvements to the stadium experience (see my other post). I heard on the post game Brunell being asked if he could "tell" what was coming. He said he felt it in the locker room. I think the 12th man had a lot do with that. Everyone should be very, very proud of themselves. The Dallas fans came into a VERY hostile stadium tonight and they were humiliated. Congratulations everyone!

Kenny, loved the performance today, SuperSkin was the perfect touch! I was yelling at you from the end zone after you were running off, the look of pure jubilation on your face was PRICELESS!!

Fouir in the first half alone abby!

In the beginning (pre game and early first quarter) I give us an D. There was little energy IMO.

But the 12th man came to life by the second drive and we didn't let up! there was decent noise with under 2 minutes left in the game! Best sports experience in my life.

I was at that one and that was the only time I remember FedEx coming close to the RFK atmosphere. I was at home today, with my TV sound system cranked and i give the 12th man a thumbs up! I was feeling it, just like being there, awesome job by the fan's today!:awesomewo

I agree with Kenny. This was definitely the loudest FedEx has ever been. A few times...instead of yelling and clapping....I just listened to the noise. I wanted to hear how loud we were.....and we were very loud even from the Upper Deck vantage point.....it was just incredibly loud. Just look at all the false starts and the two time outs Bledsoe had to burn because of the noise.

The twelfth man was loud and proud the entire first half. Even most of the third quarter we were pretty loud.

Anyone hear on TV our "You Suck" chants? I could hear us on the radio broadcast.

Jaworski said that's the loudest he's ever heard a game in washington...this coming from a guy that played once a year in RFK. the 12th man wanted this game, and we wanted it BAD. for all those that have been wondering, the 12th man is back baby...and we aren't going ANYWHERE.

Kenny is right, this was the loudest the stadium has been since we've been there. I thing bandwagon (I belive that's who it was abov) captured the feeling at the stadium perfectly. It was awesome IMO. There were chants coming from all over the place tonight and it was priceless when they played "Moma don't let your boys grow up to be cowboys" towards the end of the game. As cowpuke fans were leaving, you heard the "Na na na's" chant.

RIGHT NOW WE ARE HOLDING ON TO THE FINAL PLAYOFF SPOT. ESPN just reported it.

I was nervous too during pregame, the place didn't sound as loud as I thought it would get. And Chris Paul was trying to start the We Want Dallas cheer and it didn't seem to catch fire like I thought it would.

Then we went on offense and it was hard to tell how into it the crowd was. Then Dallas came on O and the place blew up. Then on the first play we got an INT and Fed Ex EXPLODED! Then Cooley scored his TD and the stadium lifted off the ground and levitated about ten feet for 10 to 15 seconds!

It was then that I knew this 12th man was here to seriously represent.

I was watching the game at home. And you can tell the place was load and full of energy. So all the great fans who were there thank you.

Wow, this thread has gotten exactly the respone I was looking for!!! Thanks to LadyNRedskinsfan for reposting it from Seneca forum

I truly felt this game was the greatest sports experience of my lifetime. I have a good record at Skins games, 9-1, but I've never been to a blowout. To have it come against the Cowboys makes this something I will forever remember.

I agree with an earlier poster that it wasnt as charged pregame and early Quarter 1, and was pretty frustrated that a lot of fans weren't in their seats at the start of the game. But Fedex was buzzing with electricity, and after the Daniels tip to the Griffin INT, I knew that after we scored and Dallas got the ball back that place would explode!! And every 1st down, every 2nd down, the fans were LOUD!! I wasn't sure if it could be heard through the TV or Radio, but the survey says YES.

Thanks again for the awesome feedback. I knew that place was loud, but wasnt sure what it was like in comparison to other games. To read some of the posts truly gets me excited for the future, from next week, to the next years.

I must say....no other stadium crowd in the league does a better...

"Da Da Da Da DA DA DA....Daaaa...Da....HEY....YOU SUCK" than the one at Fed EX!

The crowd singing that song came in loud and clear over the TV.

I LOVED IT!

Thanks to all at the game yesterday, I turned the sound off on the TV here in the UK, and could still hear the crowd screaming. Just wish i could have been there.

Great Game. The House was rocking. Keep it up next week. :)

The 12th man was awsome!!! I lost my voice and just got about 25% of it back this morning. There was a 7 years old boy infront of me who was waving a yellow towel jumping up and down screaming the entire game. Seeing that just made our crew scream even louder. I came home last night and told my wife that I want a son (we just had a daughter this past 4th of July).

That is an understatement! I was down right embarrassed that 1) we need to have a pre game pep rally 2) the stadium doesn't fill until mid way through the first quarter and 3) the fans that were there do not seem to know/remember the "we want dallass" chant!??

I did the chant at three games:

Home after we bheat the Bears
Basically home after we beat the Cardinals
Yesterday

Fans don't get why we chant that I guess.

When I went to the oakland game that was my main complaint as well. Get there early against the Giants and get to your frickin seats for kickoff. And chant "WE WANT GIANTS!!!" when the Giants are coming out of the tunnell. Make them feel likeChristians in Rome and the Redskins are the lions about to be released (or insert any non-religious metaphor here if you like). 12th man you have to bring the pain next week because the boys need you even more.

If this game doesn't top the 1999 Wild Card game as the loudest and rowdiest 12th man effort at Fed Ex, then it is RIGHT UP THERE WITH IT.

It was simply incredible. It was one of those rare games where, collectively, the fans just seemed to "get it." They didnt need music, and didnt need verbal instruction. We were just as in sync as the Skins were on the field, from the deafening third downs to the "You Suck" chant as the stadium played the Gary Glitter song. By the way, big props to the sound man in the stadium for quickly turning DOWN the music at the very moment we were about to chant "You Suck." I don't know if anyone else noticed that, but it sure did heighten how noticable the chant was.

Incredible, breath-taking performance by our 12th Man, with more to come next week.

superskin!!!! You and the Funky Four looked great!!! When you guys did your thing, my mother-in-law asked about who you were. I said "Mom, he's SuperSkin!! He's the Defender of Burgundy and Gold!" Yours and the Funky Four's performance just added to our excitement!

To the 12th Man... :honor: I SALUTE YOU!!! I could hear how loud you were THE ENTIRE GAME!!! There were even some instances where the camera shots were kinda shaky because of all the tremors you guys caused! It was AWESOME!!!

BTW, watching from home, the family and I (the 13th man?) were LOUD as well! After every single touchdown, we sang the fight song, so did our 3 year old niece!! There were so many hi-fives, clapping, woo-hoos throughout the game. We sang the "YOU SUCK" chant with you, as well as the "Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey, GOOD BYE". I also got inspired by George Allen's dance after the win against Dallas on New Year's Eve 1972 and did a few of those myself. :Partyred:

The best part was NO ONE SAT DOWN!!! We were standing pretty much the whole game. I have quite a cough today but it is well worth it. We get credit for those false starts!!

Burises heal (my hands are particuarly hurting from banging empty seats), sore throats mend, headaches fade...

But that was something they will never be able to take away from us.

One thing we need to work on: Getting into our seat BEFORE the opening kick off. I would like to see a few more signs and banners too.

Otherwise, the 12th man rocked yesterday. We're getting there, but I know we can do better.

The 12th man was awesome ......... The Funky 4 spot with SS just took it over the top.

BUT the real question is being throw out there now - Can we repeat it Saturday???

FedEx is becoming KNOW guys? This keeps up and we'll go beyond (far) RFK!

The 12th Man sounded great on tv. Great job guys. And you are all responible for all the false starts.

BTW, did anyone see the shot of a cowboy fan sleeping or acting like he is sleeping going into a commercial. That was the funniest thing I saw all day.

How was the 12th man? Ask Phillip Daniels who used our energy to record FOUR sacks! I didn't think one of our DEs would have four on the year. :)

"I think our crowd was tremendous," defensive end Phillip Daniels said. "You couldn't hear a thing down there."

I was a little worried in the pre game when half the seats were empty and the PA system was practily begging for a "We want Dallas" chant, but no one was in thier seats. After the game started it was over though. There werer like 5 cowgirl fans in my section and one had a "go cowboys" sign that every time he held it up I screamed a lot of things that I can't post with out risk of being banned from this web site!! By the we were through with them I don't think they'll ever have the balls to show up in our stadium and root for the f-ing cowasses again! Man, that was fun. I was so impressed by eveyone, even after the game was over (in the 2nd quarter), the fans went NUTS everytime the D was on the field. In fact the loudest it got was the 4th and 1 on the goal line that lead to thier only points, and the game was WAY over by then!!!!

I hope people realize how much we helped yesterday, and show up EARLY next week and take the game away from the giants before the game even starts. I'll be there doing everything I can....

Anyone have any suggestions? I know it's impossible to achieve a college like atmosphere, but what can we do outside of the obvious standing and shouting and jumping?

Also, whats legal for noisemakers? I always wanted to bring in one of those loud airhorns, but i wasn't sure if they'd kick me out after a few plays. Any info on that part would be appreciated!

if you're in the upperdeck by a "fedex" sign, beat the heck out of it...otherwise beat your chair, jump, yell, anything. put a bunch of change in a beer bottle?

don't think you can bring anything in to make noise like an airhorn or anything.
