Guard Marco Rivera was taken off on a cart with a strained neck late in the game, but he's not expected to be so immobile that he can't false start again next weekend.
Now that's just mean.

I love CBS Judgments article. I read this every week and I think Judge is very fair.
Going Up
5. Daniel Snyder: Sweeps Dallas and ends string of losing seasons at three.
Going Down
4. Bill Parcells: Wow, do the words "butt kicking" ring a bell?

The article with the title "Humiliating Defeat Could Linger..." has a few lines that are PRICELESS, particularly coming from a Dallas sportswriter:
Considering what was at stake, it has to be the most devastating Cowboys' defeat of the Parcells' era. After he spent last week telling us how much he liked these players, they flat quit on him Sunday. They soiled their britches.
AND...
The Cowboys now must win their final two games of the season -- at Carolina and at home against St. Louis -- to have a prayer at a wild-card spot and even that might not be enough, considering the Redskins now own the tiebreaker between them. After what we saw Sunday, that might be little more than a pipe dream. A Michael Irvin under-the-car-seat pipe dream.

I was just about to post these. Brilliant...just brilliant.

Hopefully Parcells refers to this game when he decides to retire at the end of the season.

I'd love to read their message boards right about now.
I took a glance this morning, and there are a lot of posts about how they need a QB, many people calling for Parcells' head, and lots of fruitless trash talking, i.e. "Well, there's still no way the Skins beat the Giants," and "We still have owned them over the last decade."
Love it!!

Washington Redskins 35, Dallas Cowboys 7
A+
Redskins: The defense was downright dominating. They attacked Drew Bledsoe all day long. Mark Brunell to Chris Cooley was a nice touchdown combination.
D
Cowboys: U-G-L-Y they don't have an alibi. My gosh, was that bad. Did anybody teach this team how to tackle and block?

DJ Gallo from ESPN Page2 article
I legitimately feared for the life of Cowboys punter Matt McBriar Sunday when he shanked a 15-yarder out of bounds late in the third quarter. It looked like Bill Parcells was going to attack him. Luckily though, I think Parcells realized he possesses the same speed and agility as Drew Bledsoe, so he'd never be able to catch his punter.
.....priceless....
