That in and of itself is a huge accomplishment and giant step forward for this team. To throw double digit wins and the playoffs on top of it would just be phenomenal.

Merry Christmas Redskins fans. The buzz we had for Dallas wasn't there today but the 12th man still showed up. I must say and Kenny and I discussed this. The Giants fans were cordial. I told a lot of them that they didn't get anywhere near the treatment that Dallas fans got last week and Kenny pointed out that it's because they aren't as pompous and arrogant as Cowboys fans. Very good point indeed. We did give them the "Na, na, na na" though. LOL

at least a 3 game improvement with a chance at 4, division win, playoff spot still to come.
I think Gibbs did a pretty good job, guess all the "He is too old" articles will not be coming this week.

What a present! I am so banged up, but so flipping happty!! Enjoy it folks. We'll need the rest before playing Philly. Believe it or not, I honestly feel that one will be tough.
Merry Christmas everyone and especially the 12th man whether you represent at FedEx or in your living roon. I love you all!

No definitely not and that so-called "archaic offense" only dropped 10 total touchdowns in the last two games against two very feared and well respected NFC East defenses.
Seriously folks, 10 touchdowns in two games. That is just sick. The Redskins played their two most important games of the new millenium in back to back weeks and won by a combined score of 70-27. That's dominant.
Once we win next week I'm popping a bottle of champagne (my boss got me one for Christmas) and celebrating what has been an unbelievable stretch run.

I think absolutely the Philly game will be tough, any division game is goign to be, but I am supremely confident Gibbs will not allow our guys to overlook this game. This was indeed a great christmas present, and capping it off with a playoff appearance would be all the sweeter.
Something interesting that I'm sure many people have discussed: Two of the division leaders (NFC North, NFC West) we have beaten, Now I don't want to get ahead of myself, but hsoudl we play either of them in the playoffs, I feel it bodes well for us becuase we were able to win close games.
I'm literally scared about next week though becuase it would be Norv-esque for us to lose that kind of game. Fortunatley i constantly remind myself of who is coaching us. Unfortunatley I have to reimnd myself who is coaching the Raiders as well, and who they're playing next week.
Hail 'SKins!
(now we have to wait 8 days for the next game :( ) Hopefully Mark will eb ready to go, but if we can runt he ball ala this week, I'm confident Ramsey will do an admirable job.

That sounds verrrrry similar to Gibbs first go around doesn't it?
The thing that AMAZES me to no end is that with a win next week we will finish up at 5-1 in the division!!!!!!! That, ladies and gentleman, is how you become a successful team. Never would I have envisioned a divisional mark like that when considering the absolute beatings we would get within our division.
We are making history here folks. Let's get this team to the promise land!!!!!
HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!

Yes, most definitely. It will be a day of much celebrating! (either that or I'll be using it to drink away the pain in the alley behind a 7-11...)

If we win next week, I think it will be such an accomplishment. From being 5-6, to being 10-6 and in the playoffs. Congrats to the Skins!

I would like to personnally thank everyone who was at the game the past two weeks. Watching on TV you could really see what a tremendous impact our crowd had. I was talking to my friend about how they should have "12th Man Yards" that measured false starts, etc.

It's not just that. Think back to the start of the season when it took us the best part of 8 quarters to score a TD. Then the same offense puts 35 on three of the NFC's best defenses. Not to mention hitting the season's high score over the 49ers...

Good point.
I think Gibbs opened up the toolbox.
We ran a reverse and a halfback option pass.

That is really classy EA! As a Skins fan in Eagle territory, I honestly believe Philly is going to battle us really tought this week and next year. Philly never quit this season and if it were not for injuries and TO, they would be division champs IMO.
McNabb will have you guys back next season and it will be ultra tough for all of us b/c we all improved. The plus side is that in the old days (not sure how old you are), the NFC East winner was successful in the playoffs b/c they were battle tested. I think it killed the Eagles in recent years to win the division without any threat from the other three teams. From now on the division winner will be ready for big games!

HTTR, and everyone supporting them this year, and every year. We finally have a respectable record in this Millinium. I am so happy that I could cry, but I won't.
