He also said we are the hotest team and could be the best pick to challenge Seattle.

We need to get in first.

I am waiting for the so called "Experts" to say YET AGAIN they messed up from the beginning of the year.

I also am looking forward to the power rankings this week, do we get ahead of the Giants for once? All these rankings have consistently had the Giants ranked higher, I am curious to see how we will be ranked on Tuesday.

It's not necessarily where you are at the beginning of the year,it's who's peaking at playoff time.
Right now we're redhot and we're a team to reckon with.
We have to beat Philly and get into the playoffs first, then we'll be a very dangerous team.
I don't think anybody else in the NFC would look forward to playing a Gibbs coached team,on a roll,at playoff time.

The big "if" part is the health of our team. If we are healthy, we will give everyone a run for their money, that is why we would be 10-2 and entering on a 5 game win streak and be dangerous to contend with during the playoffs.

No freaking kidding and it has gotten ridiculous. The guy's "predictions" are simply recitations of the current playoff picture. He looks down the script of "if the season ended today" seedings and rattles them off as his predictions. Then things change drastically the next week and so does he.

I used to actually like this guy before this year because I thought he was a decent analyst, even though he bashed us last year. But now I think he's a total tool, the dude has been on and off and back on and back off of our bandwagon so many times this year it's made my head spin. Obviously our team has been just as inconsistent at times, but at some point the dude needs to make an opinion and stand by it. Not just pay lip service every week.

Cris Carter has ticked me off to no end this year by constantly stating that we will not make the playoffs, but at least he is consistent. He's not trying to hide behind a bunch of fog to save face when he gets proven wrong.

on a 5 game win streak, 3 straight wins vs divison opponents(2 of them with win %s over .500), nah, not good at all

An opposing team in the playoffs should take one look at Joe Gibbs' all time playoff record and then promptly crap their pants in fear.

I hope he's right, but a road divisional game in the NFC East is no picnic. I'm gonna be nervous all week until we win, then I'll be nervous again for the next week, the cycle hopefully never ends.

I put about as much stock in that lummox Sean Salisbury as i do in Bill Maas and Goose.

That being said, i agree with Mr. Salisbury's comments. :)

I wouldn't mind being nervous right up until Feb. 5th 2006.

Salisbury changes his opinion like I change underwear. I wouldn't be surprised this week to hear him say the Colts aren't going anywhere in the playoffs due to back to back losses.

Moron.

True, but, he's still a moron. ESPN football analysts just seem so fake to me sometimes. It's as if I can see the teleprompter reflected in their eyes.

Yeah, Sean said we were the hottest team in the NFC right now. He also stated that we would proably give seattle the most trouble. Shoot, when Ithink about it, we beat threee divisionleaders so far......Seattle, Chicago, and NY. Tampon got lucky on us.......so as long as we take care of business this sunday agsint the Iggles.....all those other teams need to watch their back.

It is some computer geek in the back making his picks for him. For that matter, there is a bunch of them in the back, and they take turns every week making picks. Sean is to stupid to think for himself.

How did this dude ever get onto ESPN anyway ? I hate hearing from him every week because all he does is jump from bandwagon to bandwagon according to how that particular team did that week. The way he comes across every week acting like he is the worlds most foremost football prognosticator out there. Its true we hope that his pick this week in picking us is the truth but the way he comes across as all knowing every week is really getting old.

I really think the Bears and the Skins would be a great playoff game if we make it that far. Some of them really dont want to play us, some of them really do for revenge. But we are all over their official message boards.
