With all of the coaching and personnel changes in the league as of late, which team do you think is MOST LIKELY to NO LONGER be a "Dormat" or "whipping boy" of the NFL??
The Cincinnati Bengals
The Detroit Lions
The Arizona Cardinals
The Carolina Panthers

this year, I'd have to go with the Panters.....unfortunately. If Davis can stay healthy, and with their defense, they could rather decent. The only problem is that they are in a very competitive division with TB, NO, and Atl. So, they could easily go 0-6 in their conference. Plus, they'll lose to us in Nov. lol So right there is 7 losses.

No, they won't, but I think they'll at least be at .500. I'm not sure this list is fair, seeing as the Panthers went 7-9 last year. There are many teams that should be listed before or with Carolina, including our very own Redskins (but, thankfully, also including the Cowboys).
Of the three remaining, I'd say the Lions. They're on their way up with Harrington, Rogers, and Mooch.

JoeDaSchmoe: Your point is taken, however, there could have been some other teams on there also (if we were only looking at last year: i.e. Texans, Vikings, Jags, etc.). I was looking at long-time loosers (teams that may have one or two good years, but mostly are accostomed to loosing).
Washington and Dallas are historically successful organizations. Same would go for teams like Buffalo, Minnesoda, San Diego, etc. who have Never "won" a Super Bowl, but have been there and have several playoff games to their credit.

The Panthers will show the most improvement this year.

Carolina will be the only respectable squad from this list in 2003.
I'm not a Harrington fan in Detroit. The Cards are the Expos of the NFL right now (even though rev sharing should forbid their current pathetic existence). Who knows if Lewis has a chance in Cincy. Probably not.

Gotta go with the Panthers. How many 4th quarter leads did they lose last year? Davis will help out in that category, when they need just 1 more first down.
