Awesome! I think we'll have a great chance to have an awesome record at home. I only see 4 tough games on the road, Dallas, NY, Philly, and Indy.
Cooooooooooool!

I think that's a good draw for us. Getting ATL & CAR at home. Indy on the road is tough.
PS--Maybe the NFL will change the road NO game to Fed EX--see how Coughlin & Peter Queen like that!!

How bout playing the Giants in FedEx for both games? That would probably satisfy me.

Cool. I can start planning my annual road trip to one of the games. Not sure which one I'll hit up. Probably Houston but not yet sure.

I see a rivalry developing. 3rd year in a row we will play them in the regular season on the heels of our 2nd playoff matchup, in which the series will be tied 1-1! :D

In my mind the rivalry extends back to 1999. I want to beat them sooooooooo BAD! I want to beat them like I was Tom Sizemore nad they are Heide Fleiss

Looks pretty good, but as usual, it's way too early to tell...depends on whether the Vikings and Rams are any good next year...NO, Houston and Tennesse should still suck, and Atlanta, Carolina, Tampa and Jacksonville should be pretty good..the Indy game will be extremely tough unless we face them late in the season and they've already clinched something (like this year)...but again, too early to tell...draft, FA, injuries...the only sure thing is that WE WILL GO 16-0!!!!

My hate for them grew when I went to the Skins/Bucs game the year after the Bucs won the Super Bowl. I was sitting next to this clearly bandwagon fan who would not shut up for the length of the game. I hate the Bucs, and I hate that darn pirate.

Tampa Bay again ... we've played them two straight years, thought this new schedule got rid of stuff like that. Oh well, they'll get a taste of what's to come this Saturday!

NOW THAT THE SKINS ARE BACK IN THE PLAYOFFS WE SHOULD GET SOME PRIME TIME GAMES IN 2006. I WOULD EXPECT THE OPPONENTS TO BE INDY,COWPOKERS, OR CAROLINA. A MATCHUP I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IN THE UP COMMING SUPERBOWL IS REDSKINS VS. PATRIOTS, THAT WOULD BE A BATTLE TO THE END TO GO IN THE HISTORY BOOKS. THE SKINS OF COURSE WOULD WIN.:twak:

The way I see it, as of right now,
We have clear advantage-Houston(A), New Orleans(A), Tennessee(H),
We have slight advantage-Jacksonville(H), Dallas(H), Philadelphia(H),New York(H), Atlanta(H), Carolina(H), Minnesota(H), St. Louis(A)
It's a toss up-Dallas(A), Philadelphia(A), Tampa Bay(A)
They have slight advantage-New York(A)
They have clear advantage-Indianapolis(A)
That looks good right now, but the offseason is still to come.

I think they'll have the Saints go up there again, the NFC East does play the NFC South. It's only fair to Eli.

It looks like the Giants have a "home" game against New Orleans next year, perhaps they should move it to the Superdome and call the Giants the "home" team.
Just a thought.

That sounds like a good idea, but the league likes the Manning Brothers to much to do such a thing. Only teams like NO have to do crap like that.

OK...so after looking at our home scheudle, it is nice to know that the JAX, TENN and MINN games will NOT bring a bunch of opposing team fans into our stadium.
However, there should be a lot of PAnther fans invading next year, and you can be sure to see a ton of Vick jerseys in the stands when we play the falcons thanks to all of the local VaTech fans who have a bigger alligence to Vick than the Skins.
I like our away schedule. Playing at New Orleans and Houston should be fairly easy games...but I'm not looking forward to playing in the RCA dome.
Why is it that we play the Bucs every single year?

Honestly I dont like the Manning brothers at all...and I heard there is another one coming...there is also a(fell free to correct) Marcus Vick and Santana's lil brother Sinorice Moss...but again I dislike the Mannings...if we play the Colts doesnt that mean the brothers play against eachother?

I really like our schedule! I hate to see Tampa AGAIN....sheesh. But look at the away games. Another schedule where (on paper) the harder games are in our house and the "easier" opponents are on the road. Indy, being the exception.

I think it's a good schedule, looks a little easier than this season on first glance but anything can happen. I also like the games we have at home, playing the easy teams on the road is a big help.
I think we'll have another good year, I just think it'll be tough to go 5-1 in the division again next year. Hopefully we can get a few wins back against the AFC next year. Going 0-4 against them this year hurt us.

Yup, the easy road games will hopefully be huge, but you just never know how good teams are going to be until we see them play next year. That being said, I think the road games the Skins had to play this year really, really hurt. The Skins had to go to Denver and KC where simply remaining competitive is an accomplish while they get the two terrible AFC West home teams in SD and OAK at FedEX. The Giants and Cowboys both got to play Den and KC at home and both were able to capitalize.

Well, we're not playing the same teams from this season, but off the cuff, I would say that 10-11 wins looks likely. Especially with the weakness in Minnesota, Houston, Tennessee, New Orleans and Atlanta. Barring injuries and problems, the Skins could make a run next season.

If the Skins can get into a position to get a bye and a home game and a week or two off to get healthy then I think they'd have a hard time losing in the playoffs. This was clearly a team that was on its last legs today. The defense came out and put a hurting on the best offense in the NFC, I mean physically beat them up, but they were gassed in the second half. The offense had a great season; it was really good after the Brunell re-acclimation period, but faltered after Patten went down. It struggled for a few weeks, but then redefined itself and became great again until Thomas got injured. In the end though the offense was just too injured and had run out of weapons.
So if the Skins weren't so gassed I have no doubts they would have won today. Getting that home field and the weeks off to get healthy will be tough though seeing as the NFC East teams could all end up beating each other up again next season.

our schedule is guaranteed to be tough just cause the NFC East is going to be really tough next year. Philly will be back in action, the giants should be rockin and if dallas gets a qb they might be really tough next year.

I think the Giants should be stripped of one of their home games to make up for this year's extra home game.
At Least Carolina is at home, but we will see how we really match up against Indy in Indy.

Yeah, I'd love to see Bush do his funny dancing moves behind the line of scrimmage against this Redskin defense. 15 carries for negative 31 yards is my prediction.
