Its a little late, the FF season ended after+ week 16 for me. But I thought I'd let you all know that I did well in both my leagues.
In my "public" league that I joined for giggles, I was propelled into the finals as the number 4 seed(four team playoff) by Cooley's three TD performance against Dallas. My team was a pathetic mismosh held together with twigs and spit, I subsequently and deservingly lost the championship game.
In my league with my friends, I glided into the finals as the number 2 seed(4 team again) and trounced the number 1 seed with a little help from your friend and mine, Santana Clause.
So, in my first year REALLY playing in a FFL(last year I had a team, but I barely played...I just let my friend set the roster for me everyweek) I ended up in the finals in one league and winning my other.
