Israeli Prime Minister, the most indispensable man in the Middle East, has suffered a "serious stroke" and is in grave danger. This is the second stroke Sharon has suffered.

Holy Canoli.....I have not been a fan of Sharon but he has been much better then Netenyahu. I miss Izhak Rabin....he was a great great man.

Not good. The Palestinians have nobody to rely on and his political opponents don't want to see the peace plan happen. Sharon has been single handedly dragging the Israelis AND the Palestinians forward Israeli in the peace process.

If Bibi Netenayhu takes over after the elections, he'll re-invade Gaza, end all the agreements and provoke a new intifada. Which means we'll be back at zero in terms of solving this Israeli-Palestinian problem.

Robertson Links Sharon's Stroke to Wrath

NORFOLK, Va. — Christian broadcaster Pat Robertson suggested Thursday that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's stroke was divine punishment for "dividing God's land."

"God considers this land to be his," Robertson said on his TV program "The 700 Club." "You read the Bible and he says `This is my land,' and for any prime minister of Israel who decides he is going to carve it up and give it away, God says, `No, this is mine.'"

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has now chimed in...

Iran's president said Thursday he hoped for the death of Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, the latest anti-Israeli comment by a leader who has already provoked international criticism for suggesting that Israel be "wiped off the map."

"Hopefully, the news that the criminal of Sabra and Chatilla has joined his ancestors is final," President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying by the semiofficial Iranian Students News Agency.
