Ok, so I'm a short, 10 hour drive to Seattle. If I can get a group together to go to the game I'm there. I checked the HR fan database and we're not well represented in the long tradition of losing football Northwest. So is there anyone who wants to try and make this happen?

I have a couple of Seattle friends also so I might be able to find places for people to sleep. I can't promise anything because they're all grad students (even worse, grad students in music) and might not have anything more than a bathtub to sleep in, but I'll work the phones tomorrow and see what I can do.

DS, my girfriend and I are working to try and figure out if the trip up from LA makes sense for us, I am definitely considering it, it would be really cool to hang there with you and whoever else can attend. I'll keep you posted.

Does anybody know where you can get cheap game and plane tickets? My dad said I could go if the Skins advanced (not thinking they would), I haven't talked to him yet but if he's true to his word I'll be there. But I need cheap tickets.

Wow, that's a long drive Whit. That would be awesome if you came up though. I'll be sure to bring my TC hockey jersey so that I can rub it in 6 years after the fact.

LNR--it would be cool to meet up with you also. Keep us posted on what you find as far as tickets.

A couple of other things. I'm driving so I can try to work out rides from airports, to the game from hotels, and whatever else. Also, in all likelihood I'm a solo so if anyone is buying tickets and would be kind enough to have me join them, let me know and it would be greatly appreciated.

Just got my tickets for the Seattle game on Stubhub.com. Online ticket broker. They were $167 apiece on the 40 yard line. Upper level, but its the 40 yard line. I live in Reno, NV so I will be making the drive up there. Its about 12 hours. If anyone is going, we should meet in the parking lot for some tailgaiting. Our seats are in section 334 row jj. HTTR!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I don't think we'd be making the drive from LA, we're looking at airfare right now. It looks right now that the Seattle airport, stadium, and city are very close together, it sounds pretty convenient to get around.

And if we make it be happy to bring the TC hockey jersey. Those games were some of the funniest moments of my high school life.

It's a toss up between taking I-84 all the way to the coast or heading up 15. I'd probably head up 15 and try to meet up with you in MT. But I have to weasel my way out of a wedding. I'd say 60/40 against me going, but I got a shot.

I was thinking about buying my tickets off that site as well. Seems like a pretty legit place to get tickets from. Im worried that trying to buy tickets on Monday off ticketmaster will be a lost cause, but if i get lucky i can probably get a better deal off ticketmaster.

According to the seahawks website (http://www.seahawks.com/ArDisplay.aspx?ID=6391) the tickets go on sale at 10 am PT, so that would be 1 in the afternoon east coast time. I saw earlier in the thread someone thought they went on sale at 10 am ET, and I wouldn't want any skin fan to try and buy tickets then, get discouraged because ticketmaster said they weren't selling them, and then not get a ticket because they had the wrong time.

I will check at 7 am PT just to hedge my bets, but the word on the seahawk website says 10 am PT.

Hope that helps others.

Why dont you guys just head up 1st street to the liqour store and watch the game at home? Why spend all that time and money traveling across the country to watch your inferior team get their butts whooped?

Gibbs and the foreskins are looking like they are bringing back the old foreskin dynasty but it isnt happening this year....You guys are gonna wish Josh Brown would have made that kick in week 4 since the Hawks won the #1 seed anyways. Now the Hawks are the #1 seed licking there chops for the Foreskins at home...

You clowns can keep singin` it.....but you better start bringing it!

I'm saying that I can go to the game if it's im Carolina, but not in Chicago due to geographical reasons. That's why I'm pulling for Carolina. I think we match up better against them.

Well no dice on the official tickets. I started dialing like crazy right at 9:59, had 5 phones dialing the number plus all 5 people were refreshing Ticketmaster availability in between calls. Ended up getting a whopping big fat zero tickets :(

I am hoping I can score some tickets on ebay or something, not sure if I am willing to fork over the $300 yet for the nosebleed seats (actually, it is more of an issue that I KNOW the wife isn't willing to fork over that kind of dough) but I am still plugging away. Hopefully something will come up this week, but at least my consolation prize is watching it on the 42" Panny Plasma :D (and everyone says the view is better from your couch than the stadium anyway).

Sadly, as a poor Redskins fan growing up in the Northwest hating the Seahawks, I have never actually been to a game live. I was hoping this would be my first game, but we will see. I am hoping I can bring that whole "first game mojo" to the stadium if I do make it. (The really sad this is I am 27!)

Edit: Oh I see this pass is good for any ticket holder so I guess you have to buy a ticket and then the pass.
