I like these threads, but the person who usually makes them never does any more. So, grade the Redskins.

Offense: F. No production. We failed on offense. 25 net pass yards! TWENTY FIVE!

Defense: A. Except for the lack of speed at the CB position, we effectively stopped any drives they had going.

Special Teams: C-. Awful kickoffs and one bad punt, but our coverage was good. Antonio Brown needs to stop being allowed to return punts; put Thrash back there.

Coaching: B+. A little conservative on offense, but Gregg Williams tore it up today.

We won...in the playoffs...on the road, so: Washington Redskins A+

Specifically:
Offense D- (not an F because they converted the first int into a TD and because Tampa's D is awesome)
Defense A+ just awesome...what more can you ask...
Special Teams C- (could have done better in coverage, one horrible punt at the worst possible time, not much length on the kickoffs, and A.Brown makes me really really nervous)
Coaching A (Williams called an awesome game, and Joe decided not to risk anything until the D was able to keep the lead..it worked, so it's fine by me)

This about sums it up for me but we won so I can't really give the team anything but an overall A.

Our defense is very oportunistic and lucky. Hell, I'll take luck over skill anyday of the week though.

My grade for an opposing player's introduction:

Anthony Becht from TB announcing he is from the "2006 Sugar Bowl Champion, West Virginia Mountaineers."

That is money.

Yes, this is all right.

Offense: F - no production, defense setup their only TD. They drove the field from one FG. Pathetic. Only saving grace was that it was against the #1 D in the NFL, but not good enough in the playoffs.

Defense: A - scored, got pressure, sacks, and turnover -- what more can you ask for. Bring it next week!!!

Special Teams: D - short kickoffs, horrible punt with the game on the line, dumb decision by AB again -- needs a lot of work.

Coaching: C - conservative offense, but we won!!! GW is the master and defense.

I'm glad the Skins won this game as I have another week to lay it on my co-workers who hate the Skins!!!

So far we've won 6 straight and beat some pretty good teams along the way. I don't believe we won because we were lucky. We won because of our defense.

Where did we go wrong? Offensive playcalling for one. Why not some end-arounds. Screens...did we forget what screens were. Moss screens or the Thrash. They (bucs) were so keyed on the running backs I bet we could have done some damage with the receivers this way.

Offense = D- (they did punch it in from the 5)

Defense = A- (nearly perfect performance except for the backfield, but how can you penalize them too much with everybody out. They'll fix it before Seattle)

Special Teams = F (poor kickoffs and punts, except for one each and then the fumbles on punts)

Coaching = D (we have to become a bit more creative and not sit on leads)

Just a observation on Special Teams. I know that Frost shanked that punt...but he also made in one hell of a play to stop the return. Not many punters would have made that play.

But our boys ain't gonna be chillin' at their cribs playin' Madden '06 next Saturday...;)

**** That was Dr. J (skinfan43) ****

My grade?

An A baby! No, it was no pretty, but we played the best defense in the NFL and WON!!!! So quit whining and pack your backs for Seattle!

Brunell is old, tired, and ineffective. The offense should do double sprints in practice this week. Ugh. As I said after the Eagles game, we can't keep expecting the D to score flukish points like this for us.

Until that las punt, Frost had a MONSTER game!

ESPN just showed Carlos getting his hand in and hitting Shep's Elbow or ball on the "NO TD," great play after getting beat!

The mark of a good team............when one phase is having a bad day, the other picks up the slack!

We were playing the #1 Def right........hasn't Brunell and the O put up 100+ points the last 3 reg season games?

"W"....I'll take it!

offense: E - no need to explain the inefficiency of today's game, although they did make a few plays

defense: A - the pass defense(namely harris with rogers getting beat a few times) was terrible. too much short passing completions.

special teams: B - coverage was average, and hall did make a good field goal. he did have some short kickoffs though.

Offense - [F] - No run game, 125 total yards, passing by Brunell was poor.

Defense - [A-] The middle of the field was wide open, which will be exploited next week. But the defense held and won the game.

ST - [C-] a. Brown almost fumbled, 14 yd punt by Frost. Another punt return by Tampa almost broke for a TD.

Coaching - [C-] GW did a great job. Joe Gibbs went very conservative with a 14 point lead and barely survived. Without a few lucky breaks we would have lost the lead and the game. Offensive playcalling was so predictable that it wasn't even amusing. Seemed to be a playcalling regression to the close games we lost in the mid-season.

The team gets an A for the victory.

You got that right.

THEY WON THE F'N GAME! The whole team gets an A+ for it. Offense, Defense, ST, Everyone gets an A+

Defense: A+ -won the game for us single-handedly

Special Teams: C+ -John Hall is not kicking the ball off very well. You can't blame the entire unit when the ball winds up on the 38 after John Hal kicks a line drive to the 17. Groom looking pretty good right now.

Offense: D- the only reason they don't get an "F" is because they punched it into the end zone. I'm worried that 2004 Brunell might be rearing his ugly head because he has done almost nothing for two weeks now.

Coaching: B+ They won. You can't coach Brunell and John Hall out of their injuries. Need to pull in the reigns on #21.
