I love the fact that this board is filled with people who respect each other and you dont have to sort through a bunch of immature junk to get good info... Everyon has an opinion and they can give it without entering a war...that is rare among boards.

Which leads me to this. I like the fact that I would have never had the chance to get to know you guys and gals. Living in NC, its not everyday that I get up to Pa or DC and Northern Va.

Getting to know people all over the country, and world, that I wouldn't normally have the chance to, makes this place that much better.

I don't even remember how I stumbled in here.

I used to post on a Scottish website, but most of the posters there were anti-American, it just wasn't fun any more.

Being a stay at home Mom, I need some stimulating conversation during the day. You all provide that.

Nah, seriously. We created this cause of all you folks. I have been to many Redskin message baords, probably everyoen that is out there. I like many of them. When i started Redskins central and we made the decision to create a forum, we had some outstanding, and I mean, outstanding people join, and it just made discussing the Redskins, just plain FUN and ENJOYABLE!

I can honestly say with each and every new poster, i don't know what it is, but we seem to attract great people here that simply love discussing the Redskins.

I am actually very proud of the community WE built!

Oh hell yes.... I was gonna say that the community, getting to know a lot of other fans, being able to talk football (and specifically Redskins football) with people who know their stuff, but now that I think about it, I definitely have to go with Mark's typing. :cool:

It is all about the people here and my beloved Skins. Not many fnas amonst my nearby friends. Most barely watch football (they are still great friends :D) I come here to discuss Skins football with people who know as much and many cases more than I do.

I look forward to coming here everyday as it is one place in my life that is pretty much stress free. This site is my oasis from the real world (if that makes sense)

I have been to many other sites also and this site is where I feel more at home than any I have been to.

I think this explains alot of the history. As far as Mods, we chose those guys based on the qualit of thie rposts and activity. Now, we are too the point where we know we have one helluva team!

LOL! This is actually the first "forum" I ever visited, looked around for a couple of days. Things seemed pretty cool, good topics, and mature posters(JDS dont take that literally). Plus this is the only site I've seen since joining that doesnt have "flame sprayers" [fond memories of ramclan]

Moderators are selected by the admins GiG but yes, it has to be a registered user but we have no open spots at this time.

I used to go on a forum from my soccer team but it was really immature so I gave up while here, well, we are in good company so i stayed. (and as i'm a little bit megalomaniac i like the idea of being the guy from overseas who normally should not be here...)

it is always nice to be surrounded by skins fans, especially knowledgable ones. the site is always updated with so much news that it is hard to keep up! also, i am a diehard skins fan and i need to know whats gonna on with my team all the time and this site is always buzzing. plus, like someone else said, "why NOT post at hR!"

This was the best site I found after HQ shutdown, not a big fan of the extreme sites style.

To put in a nutshell, i'm a ball sports guy, so when i discovered your football, i liked it, and it was back to 1987 i think, so maybe it was a little bit of bandwgon stuff, but i stayed in it since then. It was also because of a clutch game against the Vikes and the emotion coming from this team was huge! I rmembered all the team grouped waitnig for a field goal finaly miss by the vikes, really strong moment...

To return the good vibes, who should we root for in soccer/football? You said the season just started and sometimes I watch the games when they're on.

I was linked to this page from another Skins site, don't remember which, and before I registered, I was reading a thread that CarMike and posted on. CarMike used to have a picture (I think the administrators call them avatars) of 2 hotties on his posts, and he convinced me one was his wife and the other was his sister. After getting over the embarrassment, I found this to be the best site for Skins info and there are generally good people here. I mean, come on, hR members welcome enemy fans and ask them to come back. Now you can't find better people than that!

This site has the best people of any board I have ever visited.

Firstly, yes i'm really a french guy. I went about 5 or 6 times in the US but only for holidays (New Orleans, LA, NY, San Diego, Orlando, Key Largo...).

If you can catch french championship you must root for the Paris-Saint-Germain (look at my avatar)!!!
This year is a reconstruction year so it will be good if we are in the top 5, but pressure of public is important so fans want to be #1.

Well last saturday (fan appreciation day) I was at Redskins Camp and a bunch of guys next to me Car Mike et. al. were talking about the board. Then they all like took a picture of each other and then yelled out the url hailredskins.com that night I came here and registered and realised that this was the best place for me to talk with other skins fans about Redskins football
