Sounds like a lot of fun, but our season will hopefully still be going? I would hope they'd be focused on getting ready for Chicago/Carolina? :)
I would definitely consider this if I lived closer. The 2005 Redskins will always have an extra special place in my heart for the effort they gave to make the playoffs.

I wouldn't suppose they are interested in moving the location to Beverly Hills or something...
Anyone going I'm sure is going to have a blast.

You will have a great time, Tessy. I went to one of these lunches years ago (when George Allen was the head coach) at the Shoreham Hotel on Conn Ave. It cost $25 then (a pretty stiff sum in those days for lunch), but I felt it was worth every penny. I don't remember being allowed to mingle with the players to get autographs, but I didn't mind. Just being in the same room having lunch with a bunch of Redskins players was a big thrill.
I remember another fan, who probably had quite a few brewskis that day, pointing to me and say "hey there is a real Redskin!" (you see, I am of Asian descent). I didn't mind (I am not the politically correct type), and he and I had a big laugh together.
Hopefully, you will be congratulating Marcus for the big win in Seattle when you see him Tues.

I was actually quite excited when we brought in Trung. He was an important piece of the Rams Championship team and I thought he could bring some speed to our offense.

In the fine print you will see this:

I just wanted to give an update on this. I took my wife to this for her birthday since Marcus Washington is here favorite player. I just have to say, this was a great time and Marcus is just an allaround great guy. Really, all the players and former players were.
Doc Walker, B-Mitch and Ron Saul were the masters of the ceremony and they did a fabulous job. The whole lunch was VERY entertaining. Marcus Washington did show up and offered some pretty good insight on the mind of the team heaing into the offseason.
Before it was over, my wife and I got pictures and autographs with Doc, B-Mitch and the Mongoose. I missed Ron Saul. It was a great time and well worth the effort. I'll post them here when I get them.
BTW, I made sure to mention to Doc that I loved his interviews on hailRedskins.com. He replied something like "You're from hailrRedskins.com? Great, I love that site." and he mentioned that he would be getting together with Kenny later on for another interview so we got that going for us too. :awesomewo

He said a couple of things that I found interesting about LaVar. First was that LaVar was telling him -- even during the game up in Seattle -- how much he wanted to stay here. He said LaVar was really digging the last couple of months. He also thinks that LaVar will restructure or do whatever financially to stick around, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Salmon with a bit of a red sauce. It was excellent, but then again, everything at Clyde's is always very good.

I am 100% convinced LaVar will return and play an important role on this team in 2006. I heard basically that on the John Tompson Show, and LaVar just kept saying about how he wanted to be a Redskin. I love the guy and I think he is just an emotional person who can get a little fired up and say stupid things on occasion. I know I am guilty of that and on occasion have to back track and clarify what I meant.

I hope you're right. Doc and B-Mitch were each hammering the fact that LaVar was not healthy and that we have not seen a healthy LaVar in a while. Unfortunately, B-Mitch is convinced that LaVar won't be back. He thinks he should be but he said he's going with the writing on the wall.

Glad you and Tessy had fun BNG. The luncheon looked a lot nicer than when I went years ago. The organization is coming back to prominence and I'm excited.
