Sorry in advance if this is old news...

But here are the Madden 2004 team rankings. Skins are a 77 overall with a 69 offensive rating--one of the worse in the league.

NOTE the owner mode. Fourteen days until its release.

That's BS....I am going to edit the team for sure....

I do like the mini-camp drills...they haven't had camp type stuff since the old maddens for SNES

So am I. I had to edit some of it last year also (both offensively and defensively). I hope that the QB rating is better than last years. I wonder what the Defensive side of the ball was rated.

Actually, I'm a bit confused... on the link I provided, the offense was rated 69 and the defense 79... But on this link, the two are reversed.

We'll know shortly...

i liked the rankings last year. we had an 94 rating for defense. 77?????? that's horrible. who the hell rates these teams anyway?

I thin our offense rating last year was deeply centered on Davis and although we do have Coles, I don't blame them for not putting a whole lot into the rest of our skill positions. Get the modem for the ps2 and you'll get the updates that'll probably move us to the mid 80's I'd guess. That's where I'd put us..maybe 83.

I don't like it!!! But it is fun starting your frachaise mode off with a horrible team and working your way up.

I don't like the rating either but I won't juice up my squad though. Around these parts they call that cheating.....:cussing:
If you change it at home, you aren' t gonna be able to juice up (edit) you team in online play so it's best to work with what you got and kick ass with our poorly rated squad.

I think I will save the updated rosters when the are availible online after preseason. If we are playing as good as we look on paper, it will be reflected in the roster updates.

I will cut Big Daddy though. I don't want him on my team at all. :guillo:

Pretty low ratings. Even I who is pretty much pessimestic when it comes to the team wouldn't rate the team that low. I'm not sure I'm going to buy Madden anyhow. NCAA 2004 is damn addictive enough, I don't know if I'd ever go to work if I had Madden as well.

Did you guys notice the new owner mode where you have to manage the stadium, concessions, merchandising and I think parking??? Also you hire assistant coaches and have to retain them as well as giving signing bonuses to the players. So many new features on 2004.

Our offense is rated equal to Detroit's and worse than Carolina's. Yes, that's right, thirty-first ranked Carolina has a better rating. And guess what rating the last place offense in the league has for Madden 2004? Yes, that's right, Houston is right up there with us at 69.

Our defense is ranked worse than Seattle's. In case you don't remember, Seattle had the worst run defense in the league last year. Yet, strangely, it's equal to Carolina's, the second best overall defense in the league, and Baltimore's, which has always been and will always continue to be a ridiculously tough defense.

Raise your hand if you're as confused as I am.

I think a little Jack Daniels previewed with about 18 coronas might explain the mindset of these guys...

oh well, it'll look better to crush other people with our piss poor rated team...

Guys, you can run drills in training camp to improve your team...
