Great stuff, as always. Doc just adds a lot to this site. This is analysis you can't get anywhere else and that's a fact. Doc shares our love for the Skins, but he doesn't write press releases for the team. It's great to get the unvarnished truth from a man who has been there and knows.

I like it that he doesn't sugar coat anything. From the things I have seen so far, his passion just comes forth in his interviews.

might have been the best one yet. His comments on marshall were very interesting, i think he is the first person to declare that marshall still has significant upside. i have doubted the pierce trade, and marshall proved me right in the beginning of the season, but no doubt he has come on strong and more and more consistent with his good play every game.

I think that's Sean Taylor. Doc has nicknames for everyone on the team. Some are their "official" nicknames and I think he just wings it on some of the others, lol.

lol I love his nicknames, they are hilarious. Doc really has been an amazing addition to hR. His analysis is awesome and he is passionate and BELIEVES in this team, but at the same time, he isn't afraid to criticize them when necessary. I love hearing what he has to say.

Yeah, I agree. When Doc says it you know that it's not a knee jerk reaction. Plus, he bleeds B&G, so you know that the assessment is coming from his love of the team. Sometimes it might be tough love, but there is no ill will there. I can't say the same for some former players. I am thrilled that we are able to get his insights at hR.

It is that amazing longarmed long legged creature that swooped down on the BUCs fumble and rumbled 60+ for a TD.

Then spit his venom in their face

Watch out Hawks, I heard there are Tarantula's big enough to eat birds.

Doc is right on with Marshall. There is no doubt in my mind whatsoever, NONE that we did not step down, downgrade, or anything by leaving Pierce go. This guy has grown into, grown with, and is now leading this defense. The interception he made by tipping the ball was simply fabulous, the concentration he showed was tremendous. On a defense as good as this, ranked as well as this, with caliber of 0f players we have with guys like Springs, Washington, and Taylor, remember one thing, Lemar LED this team in TACKLES AND INTERCEPTIONS. Simply amazing. And as young as Lemar is, but yet three years mature, he is going to get even better.

Lemar has put forth an amazing effort this season and it becomes even more impressive considering moving to a position with as much responsibility as middle linebacker. It is also the middle linebackers responsibility to make plays and he has most certainly done that. I am very excited with our linebacking corps and I see Lemar improving even more next year. Great move by the Redskins to keep their priorities straight and promote from within the organization. I can't believe where we find ourselves after our future middle linebacker in Barrow never even played a down! Incredible.

Pierce, although effective and "smart" wasn't quite as big as I like linebackers to be. Marshall easily has the size to be effective in the nfl and has had a helluva year. I believe Antonio Pierce is injured and not playing football anymore. Yes, once again, Gibbs and our front office made the appropriate decision.

God... I love Doc Walker. I look foward to mondays listening to the John Thompson show moreso than any other show. Even before he was on hR, i said he was the best Redskins coverage in town, no contest.

Some highlights from the interview, imo:

"Once Taylor left the game, they then had four deep passes. I would have had FOURTEEN deep passes..."
"The Terminator was at full force."
"[Lavar] will be able to come in back around his 4.5 speed and will be a terror on the outside.... it's going to be frightening if they can build on that."
"Listen, they may be speculating that I'm going to hit the DC Lucky 6":lol1:
"Washington is a bully and they have to go out there and BULLY SEATTLE."

I love this guy. I think we should make an official "doc walker's nicknames" thread, heck, even a forum! "Mongoose" Washington, "Ox" Salavea, "The Tarantula" Sean Taylor, "Braveheart" Cooley, Mike "The Caveman" sellers, "The Energizer Bunny" Thrash, it goes on and on... I LOVE THIS GUY!
