View Full Version : Preseason games on satellite?

I live in San Antonio, Texas, and have to watch the majority of skins games at a bar with a handful of loyal fans. I was wondering if anyone knew whether I could watch the preseason games via satellite? I know they are on WRC Channel 4.

Please help! I really want to see those games.

The only way you can catch a game is if you have the Sports package from Directv. Its around 50 channels of Fox Sports and a couple of others like Sunshine Network and ComCast.

I'll get lucky this year. I'll have the chance to watch two pre-season games this year. I may go to Charlotte and see the Redskins pound the Panthers again. Then two weeks later the Redskins play the Ravens on ComCast.

ComCast carries all Ravens pre-season games. You may be able to see that at a sports bar. I think its on Aug. 23.

Thanks Mike... I'm returning to Reston, Va., Sept. 19, just in time for the Giants game. But before then, I have to rely on satellite.

I'm actually going to the game... Where are you guys going to congregate? To be honest, I'm going with my two cousins' husbands-- one a diehard skins fan like us and the other a G-Men fan. It would figure the Giants fan bought us the tickets and probably will be driving. But let me know where and we'll trick him into joining the REAL fans.

I have that sports package and still dont get to see them. I had to rely of NFL.com and listen to the games online.

In va. Beach they show all the Skins preseason games on channel 10

Um, the sports package is only $12.00.

Anyway, us non-locals wont get to see Skins preseason games until next year when those with the Sunday Ticket will get them. The games are on but I'd imagine they'll be blacked out like the last several years. I'll get to see the Pats preseason game on Boston local channels, but most likely that will be the only one.
