Man... nobody is helping Trung up. I like big hitters, but for crying out loud, save it for games. I like how Bowen said this defense has to be very physical and hit people this season.

Hey, I just saw that hit and it was ferocious. Trung was in the air for several seconds before hitting the ground. Supposedly it all started with Bauman getting hurt. They were interviewing Coles and he said that was ugly. The reported that several guys had small injuries and were withheld from practice. They included Bauman, Trung, Gardner. Can you believe that Smoot had problems with heat today along with Jackson.

For the record, Trung did hold on to the ball. I also liked his response. He basically said that we are out here to play football, and although he wasn't prepared for the hit, he's cool with Bowen.

I heard on news4 at six, jergenson said Trung and Matt were buddies for a long time. From what I understand Jergenson also said they were drafted by the Rams and are now roommates at camp. They are apparently good buddies. I say let them go at it, even though I don't want to see anybody hurt-but they need to get ready to get hit.

Bruce Smith is a jerk.


I think the team should practice the way they're going to play. This is exactly the way we want not just Bowen, but everybody to play in the games. May as well get used to it now.

We say that now... but if trung was injured it'd all be different. I'm glad to see Bowen's intensity... i'm not surprised that he's like that...

biggest thing about preseason is to stay healthy, more hits like that and we won't be so lucky... even though that hit was really nice. I like how they were jawing at each other a little bit after it too.

Also as far as Bruce Smith and camp goes, I think the guy has been around long enough to take it easy in camp, the older they get the better the chance to get hurt, but don't complian about the youngins doing it Bruce

I don't want our players hurt either, but get em a couple licks now because if it takes one lick to stop them then they'll never last the season. Kudos to Bowen for the hit and to Trung for holding on to the ball, but that doesn't need to be an everyday occurence.

Jus heard on 980 Gardner complaining about the hit, because ti was another Redskins. GET OVER IT! What ya gonna do when you get popped in a game!
