Dave Feldman just reported that the Skins are prepared to make Champ one of the 3 highest paid corners in the league.

I hope that's enough for Champ, and I'm of the opinion that it should be. We can't sign him to some ridiculous deal that will possibly lead to him being let go in 3-4 years.

Stephen Davis. They held him out of practice today so he doens't kill himself during the preseason....thought you'd like the update.

1. Champ deserves to be paid at that level. He's the best.
2. Panthers are correct to be concerned about Davis' health. It's not like they've got a lot of other options on offense.

Yeah I heard that the Redskins and Champ's agent had preliminary talks about a contract today. That is excellent to hear.

That is music to my ears. i just want to say ..... Thank you BDW for being stupid!!!!! Dont get me wrong, i liked big daddy, hell i even have a jersey, but if you dont produce, you dont get paid the big bucks. now we will have Champ here and get the distraction out of the way before the season.
