I don't know if this is a new thing or not, but I just saw it on redskins.com. You download it to your computer tray and it updates you on redskins news from redskins.com. Thought it was pretty cool.

Eh, anything that runs in my tray all the time might as well be spyware because its wasting my memory, and takes a little longer to start up. I'll got to redskins.com when hr tells me to :p.

Sounds like it could be great... also sounds like it could drive me crazy. I guess it depends on how often they update the site, and whether or not it signals for good updates - like new videos and stuff, or if one of their writers just happened to fix a typo.

I had it for about a week but found it just annoying. Its not inconvienent for me to just go to Redskins.com or hR for news. Somewhat easier infact. It made noises and took up space in my tray. The Redskins logo in the system tray was cool though.:)

I've had it on my machine several weeks now. Useless piece of junk. It was supposed to pop up with info to advise new articles on Redskins.com....but it is always a week or two behind.

It's getting deleted as soon as I finish writing this. Thanks for the reminder.

Yeah it does text searches from discussion board to gauge fan sentiment about ticket and concession prices and runs an algorithm that gives The Danny live price increase recommendations.

In all seriousness it's pretty uninvasive and from time to time will pop up a late breaking story.

my friend and I were talking about it. He said he had it for about a week and it has done nothing to update him. We mocked it for a little bit then moved on to another topic.

Are you guys aware that you can purchase a Redskins-themed Weatherbug? I had a trial-version a little while ago but it had a picture of Ramsey throwing a pass on the side. It's not very applicable if it hasn't changed since I last saw it. The regular Weatherbug also has a Redskins.com link.
