FYI -

PJ is running a contest where you register and get a free pizza if the record for the longest pass in the Super Bowl is broken.

Yeah and then when you go to order the pizza you can't get through or they short you toppings or it take three hours or.......

fans around here know what I'm talking about.

I can't bring myself to eat PJ Pizza ever since I got a nasty case of food poisoning there.

Local pizza chains for the win (Joe's and Tonys..mmm.)

So if you people don't eat Papa John's and you don't like Domino's, what's left? Pizza Hut? That's the worst of them all.

Local places :) They are usually higher quality pizza and it's cheaper. I know like a 16 inch large from a place down the street is 8 bucks if you pick it up. And you can get subs and stuff at those places usually :)

Yeah, that works with some places. Where I'm at, all I have are the big 3, a Little Caesar's [blech!] and a Jerry's [double blech!]. I have to drive 10 or so miles to go get a good Italian pie or cold cut.

The best pizza chain around VA/MD is Ledo's. There are a number of good authentic pizza places around, I really like a place in Sterling called Emilio's. Wood fired, clay oven pizza with fresh mozzarella and homemade tomato sauce, real fresh toppings that are freshly cooked and/or cut daily and a crust that is good enough to eat by itself.

Has anyone ever had Gumby's pizza? Apparently not if it isn't #1 on your most disgusting list. They did however stay open till like 3 in the morning and had like a 30" pizza called the "Dammit". Good for post partying munchies. Jeez is it 1997 again, I sound like I am still in school.

Ledo's? I haven't had that in years. There's one up by my house too. I seem to recall it being lackluster the last time I had it. Like a step above Pizza Oven, which is barely edible, IMO.

I recommend you giving it another try, we love it in my household.

i have a question. what if someone breaks the record, then breaks his own record? or what if 2 teams break the record in the game? does that mean 2 pizzas? i doubt they would, but that would be cool
