Have fun in Denver, Mr. Gardener. Or maybe I'd be better off to tell Denver to have fun with him. They're the ones shelling out $5 million, after all.

I don't have a problem with Daryl like most here do. He did a great job last year and got the big bucks he wanted so more power to him. I'm just glad we didn't re-sign him and have him break his arm while still a Skin.

LostinNH, the only problem I have with Gardener is the fact that he was so vocal about remaining a Redskin. When he bolted for the Broncos guarenteed money instead of accepting a performance based contract, it rubbed me the wrong way. It was almost like he didn't want any part of a performance base contract. Seemed like he didn't want to work for the money. The Skins wanted to protect themselves from him getting hurt and not earn his money.

I appreciate what Gardener did for our defense last year. No doubt he was awesome. I just don't like how it turned out in the end...

Sounds a bit like Big Daddy as well... except Im not sure he can perform for the money anymore.

We will miss him but if we had signed him, we would not be talking about resigning Champ right now either

Yeah, every time I saw that thing I shuddered a little.... It could definitely star in a horror movie.

Things to do in Denver when you're injured... walk around looking sullen.
