Skins 20-1. I could deal with that and think that is fair, but how in the world do the Cowboys come in at 10-1? We hired Al Saunders. They countered with Chris Palmer. Chris Palmer? Give me a break...

I don't understand all this Cowgirl love. People have them rated so high when they haven't added anything and finished THIRD IN THE DIVISION!
Edit: also look at the Jets! Enjoy Mr. Coles.

Those are wrong. But they also don't concern me in the least.

I will take thoes odds....so a c note gets me 2 Gs
Miami at 25-1 is a nice bet if they snag a QB......their coachiong staff is a cheap imitation of ours.
if its not a Skins - Colts SB it will be a Skins - Dolphins SB

If you look at the past there are so many mistakes. There is no way to predict the upcoming season. I garuntee that one of the top 5 will not make the playoffs and one of the bottom 5 will.

This is very true, I am getting so sick and tired of the Super Bowl talk. I just think it is alittle too soon to be predicting odds and even talking about it. Yes I would be in heaven if the Skins get there but we are an entire year away. We have alot of issues to face now like FA (DE, 2 WR), the draft, and the QB situation. So lets cool it with the SB talk.
Is July here yet???

I like the 20-1 odds because it means the media and Vegas are doubting us again. Remembered what happened last season when no one thought we could even make the playoffs at 5-6.

This bodes well. Being the underdog are what the Washington Redskins are all about.

Ahh, the ruber match, that would be nice. But a superbowl with the redskins in it is always a beautiful thing

I think last year at this same time, we were 40-1.

This bodes well. Being the underdog are what the Washington Redskins are all about.Absolutely. Joe Gibbs brought back the working man's mentallity to Washington, and we are always underdogs to the glamorous type teams.

When it comes to vegas odds, it is good to be slapped in the face. I like our chances next year, so I will gladly take those 20-1 odds and make some bank! (burgandy and gold glasses go great with my outfit)

Personally, I don't mind a bit flying under the radar. Let the Cowgirls be the favorites. I was worried about coming in with two-high expectations.
This is PERFECT.

Are these the odds for MAKING the superbowl or WINNING the superbowl?
Either way, I don't really view this as a slap in the face. Every NFC team, except for the Cowboys, that has better odds than us finished with a better regular season record than us. I'd say this order pretty much matches the regular season standings, with a couple minor exceptions. San Diego, Dallas, New England and Green Bay moved way up and Jacksonville and Denver moved down(The post superbowl number give Phily a boost too). Based JUST on last season's records, this ordering looks pretty much ok. You could argue that their should be a bigger gap between us and those below us or a smaller gap with those above us, but its kinda non-sensical.
Also the teams who got bumped up make sense, mostly. Everyone loves SD right now, Philly was decimated by injuries(but should come back next year...though thats debatable). New England is New England. Denver is just like mini-Indy(great regular season, post season chokes), but they don't quite have the gaudy numbers or media appeal. Jacksonville has to contend with Indy. The only teams whose movement really baffles me is GB and Dallas, but maybe its a popularity thing...if ALOT of people bet on them often then Vegas isn't going to give them good odds. Which probably factors into all the other teams too, the Skin's might have longer odds because less people annually pick the Skins and the House can afford them.

Vegas wants their money, and it should be easy money for Vegas.

Keep in mind that Vegas odds do not ref;ect who they think the best team is. They also take into account how people bet and dallass is a popular team. If tons of people started laying money on the Jets, their odds would improve.

The 10-1 odds on the Cowboys must be on their chances of staying out of the NFC East basement. They have no shot at any SB with Bledsoe (the human statue) as the QB and that offensive line. In fact, they would be hard-pressed to contend for a playoff berth. They probably will be the best basement dweller of any division.
A couple of other odds are also puzzling. Why this fascination with NFC North teams? Bears at 15-1? Yeah, they will win that wussy division again. But, they will be one-and-done again in the playoffs. And, GB at 35-1? 2000-1 is more like it.

20 - 1 as of today .................. it will be interesting to see the odds at the end of training camp.
Hey Mike - when are you heading to Vegas again - I've got a $100 bill I want to invest. .......:D

This means nothing. No need to defend the Skins here.
The only thing that is weird about this list is the unusually high position of the Cowboys. Didn't they fall apart late in the year? They look like they are heading down, not up.

LOL! Look, these odds mean nothing. I went to Vegas last year and got the Skins at 25-1 and took it then. I say get your money in now and laugh later when you collect.

how are we 20-1 when the giants, bears and TB are 15-1. I think we should be higher than those guys

We are 20 to 1 and Dallas is 10 to 1. Who decides this. Dallas didn't even make the playoffs and they feel apart at the end. I can't believe that this means they are twice as good as us.
