I'm not sure if anyone else watches the show but it is kind of funny. The creator, Greg Garcia, puts a bunch of things in the show that reference the D.C. area. He used to work for Kornheiser and Don and Mike. I noticed this week that the trailer park is called "Pimmit Hills" after the blue collar neighborhood over near Tysons. It made me laugh. He also had them go to Frostburg State. I'm keeping my eyes out for other things now.

I've tried to get into the show myself. But I just can't. For whatever reason. I'm not sure why, just can't...

Alot of the people I work with watch it regularly and love it.

I've never watched it and wasn't interested but now that you said they reference the DC area, I'm going to check it out. Did they call Pimmit Hills, "Primitive Hills?" lol.

Ryan, thursdays at 8 and 9 this week. I just dvr'd it myself.

It turns out that Greg Garcia lived in Pimmit Hills about the same time I did and also moved to Arlington. He graduated from Yorktown and is my age so we have to have some common friends. I am looking to see if there is a way to contact him.

I cant really get into it; I only switch on NBC near the very end to be sure I don't miss the beginning of Office.

I love Earl and there have been quite a few DC references from the beginning but I didnt know the writer has deep roots. Great show.

Dave, what did he used to do with the D&M show?

He just interned back in the day. I assume back in their WAVA days.

I love the show, but I never noticed the DC references. I will have to pay more attention to it. Because it is all about the Karma.

The Wife and I love this show. It is like a white trash version of Ed. Which I loves as well (And Love Monkey is not bad). Randy is one of the best characters on there. "Earl call Karma to come save us"

Yeah, I catch Earl every now and then, but I haven't really paid attention to the D.C. connection. I will now though.
