Anyone else pick this up? I got it for Xbox360 and it's awesome. I had never played any of the previous versions, but I love it. The graphics on 360 have to be seen to be believed, and mine's not even in HD.
I've started a career mode with Bernard Hopkins and the ESPN Classic matches are really fun too.
I played the first and second game on my ps2 and they are by far the best boxing games ever. The controls take a little getting use to, but it's still an amazing game.

I downloaded the 360 demo right when it got put up on marketplace. The graphics are sickening, and it was fun as hell. I'm not gonna buy it though, because i've never been particularly good at fighting games, and I'd just get demolished if I played it online. It'll probalby find its way to my house as a rental though.

I got it for 360 and I love it. My boxer (Tony Martin of course) is on his way to be the champ. I haven't played in four days though because I've been here at discovery headquarters learning how to use Final Cut pro.
I've actually been dreaming about being able to get home and play. I haven't taken it online yet though. I'm afraid I'm going to get demolished if I step online.

Don't do it! I went online and got wrecked, but that was when I first got the game. I've been playing a lot but still remember the online first round KO.
Did anybody see the episode on Entourage where the fat guy went to an XBOX Fight Night tournament? It was hilarious! He went there thinking he was the man and got his butt whooped by a ten year old kid in the first round! LMAO!!

it really is a fun game, even though a lot of people play kinda cheap online.
then again, if you've ever played madden online, you know the drill...

Yeah i have the demo for FN3 and its tight but i don't have money to buy it. Call of Duty2 is another amazing game the HD graphics are unreal and playing it online is really fun.

i love FNround3, whenever i'm at the mall and i pass by a store with kids playing it i always challenge them. the haymakers is where it is at (so much power). the graphics are amazing, if i had money, i would definitely get it. if someone out there is willing to maybe buy a xbox360 and FNround3 for a starving college kid, i would greatly appreciate it! :lol1:

It does, but it seems more realistic (with the exception of when you get parried, they can land three shots before you recover. It makes it easier to parry or dodge their punches. It was enjoyable for about two weeks, which was the same span as the other fight nights and then I returned it to the rental store. I never played online, once I won the best pound for pound, I felt I was done.

the recovery time on the parries is dependent on the type of punch you throw. the harder punch you throw (eg. haymaker, uppercut, cross) the longer it takes you to recover. if a jab gets parried the recovery is short. this is done so people can't just throw haymakers all day, it also opens the door to counter-haymakers.
