I went to camp Saturday and was very dissappointed. Carisle is leaps and bounds better than Redskins Park. You don't get as close to the field and it is harder to see anything. Maybe it was because of the crowd for FAD, but last year at carlisle I was able to walk all over the place and see the RB doing drills and the WR's etc.. At camp now it feels cramped and you couldn't get close to the field. For the morning practice I sat at the first field when you walk in thinking that would be where they practiced since it was FAD. But noooo, they had to practice on the field on the other side away from most of the crowd was which didn't make sense. After the practice there was something like a 4 hour break where nothing really happened. Danny Boy could have set something up for the kids or had food or anything. Nothing.. We left at 11 am and got back around 2:30pm. My wife and I decided that we wanted Autographs and got in line for them at 2:30 for the 6pm singing. Good thing we did because I went through SS's line and she got Lavar's and that was all we had time for. Overall, it was my last FAD. Not worth it. I hope next year when I go through the week it will be better. Also, bring chairs and cooler with your drinks and food. They did have plenty of Porta potties though.

I agree with that assessment. Big let down. I will be backk to camp in 2004, maybe two or three times, but FAD will nto be one of them.
