1. Cowgirls (No big suprise)
2. Iggles (McNabb really annoys me)
3. Jets (Overtaken other NY team on hit list)
4. Gints (Mitchell adds to the mix)
5. Panthers (Davis & Co. are mad at all the Carolina skins fans)

Two guys mentioned Baltimore and one of them isn't from the DC area. How do you figure that?

I'd have to say:
Philly (their fans)
Dallas (the history)
NY Giants (just cause)
Manchester United & The NY Yanks (for overall team value)
So Ed, how can a town with more people and more money as well as a grossly higher average education be inferior?

Uhh last time I checked I lived in the great state of Texas...The Ravens and their owner are what I hate. The town of Baltimore does not bug me.

Wow, considering that Baltimore isn't even in the Skins conference, we're on a lot of lists.
My mention about Municipal Inferiority Complex was a jibe at Redskin Dave, who maintained earlier that while Ravens fans "all hate the Redskins", Redskins fans don't have any feelings about the Ravens. He attributed this to Municipal Inferiority Complex, which he says is rampant in Baltimore, despite the fact that I've never once in my life witnessed it.
I can tell you that most people from Baltimore don't really care about Washington any more than they do about Philadelphia. Baltimore is a weird, parochial town.
My point is that any rivalry between Baltimore and Washington is a mutual regional rivalry, and I think that it's good for both teams.
Live and let live, Redskin Dave !! And while you're in Baltimore, stop on by the stadium and check out our Lombardi trophy. It's still shiny !!

Also, to the person who claimed that all of the Ravens fans appeared after the Super Bowl win, I'll point out that the Ravens have sold out every home game since they arrived in Baltimore.
Could it be that you just didn't notice the Ravens until they won the Super Bowl? I can forgive that, as the national media never noticed us either.
Hail to the Ravens !!

Thanks Ed, we have THREE I can look at and we didn't have to steal another city's team to get them!
If you've never seen an inferiority complex in Baltimore then you need to open your eyes. There's always a complex that blue collar towns have towards white collar towns. Believe what you want to believe but only a fool or a victim would deny it.
You want some proof? Check out the "Who did you root for while BLATIMORE DID NOT HAVE A TEAM" thread on sunspot. How many say "whoever was playing the Skins"? Yeah, that's right.

Dave,
Wow, I think that the problem here is that you've got a superiority complex, or is it just personal arrogance?
Okay, I just went to Sunspot. Of 45 posts in that topic, 8 posters mentioned that they hated the Skins versus 6 posters who actually were fans of the Skins. Yeah, that's quite a mandate, Dave.
I'll grant you that some Baltimore fans hate the Skins, but why did you neglect to mention that several of them mentioned that they hated the Skins because "they were crammed down our throat" when the Colts left?
I'll tell you why: (a) because that was my original explanation for the rivalry (i.e. you were wrong) and (b) that explanation doesn't support your superiority complex (i.e. you were wrong).

I think Redskinsdave and Ed Poe are the same person with a multiple personality disorder or they really do not like each other. Either way makes for good reading! :D

Think what you will Ed. I know there is an inferiority complex. It stems from both losing the Colts to crying that the reason the fans at OPACY stink are because the Washington "wine and cheese crowd" spends all their time on their cell phones. I guess you've never heard that one either. The common response of someone who suffers from the IC is to accuse someone from the bigger town of having a superiority complex.
The Baltimore double standard regarding the Redskins and Orioles is hilarious. If the Redskins were "crammed down your throats" then I guess the Orioles gave us all upper GI's and high colonics. Tell me, was there ever a Redskins store in the middle of Baltimore because I'm quite sure the O's have one here?
Spin away.

Man, I guess this Baltimore/Washington thing JUST WON'T DIE!!! ED, please view my SEVERAL posts on this matter if you need clarification that the Baltimore Inferiority complex DOES infact exist. Tired of beating a dead horse. I don't know what part of Baltimore that you live in or how long you have lived here, but if you can't see this obvious dynamic, then either you are mentally limited (no disrespect), blind and deaf, or you see the world through rose (or purple) colored glasses. Oh, and an FYI the Ravens have not ACTUALLY sold out every game here. In their first two years, I remember several thousand tickets available to many home games (a week before gameday)........and the team petitioned several local corportations to purchase group tickets as giveaways so that the games would not be blacked-out. Also, as I mentioned in an earlier post, there have been games in BALTIMORE, where there were 30,000 STEELER FANS PRESENT (in games against Pittsburgh). So you "Ravens fans" cant take credit for another team (representing another city) to buy up close to half of the tickets for a game in your crib:D :D!!!!!!!!!

Since I consider this a year-to-year changing thing, I'll consider this for 2003.
1- Dallas
2- Philly
3- NYG
4- Jets
5- Tampa
Yeah I know these seem the most popular at this point. Not only are they the most hated, but all are must win games too. And half of our season is playing against these teams, gonna be rough.

1 - Dallas (always, but looking to go to epic proportions with Spurrier/Parcells)
2 - Giants (the Gibbs/Parcells era)
3 - Philly (a nice start with Mitchel/Barber/Thrash/Trotter, but we need to bully division away)
4 - San Fran (Walsh era in 80s, especially after the NFC "Sore Loser" Championship)
5 - Chicago ('33-'43, both played 6 World Championships, 4 vs each other)
