according to Cbssportsline.
Bucs number 1... I agree should have one more run at the SB and may just win it.
Philly is number 2
We are 23, even though we finished last year at 21 so we got worse
Dallas is 28
Ny is 14

I like Buffalo, but he's got them too high. Saints, too. He's got the Vikings too high. They're in trouble without Michael Bennett.
Let's face it: No one is going to hand our Redskins anything. They've seen big changes and offseason spending sprees from us before. It didn't mean anything. We've flopped too many times for anyone to give us the benefit of the doubt. Sure, a lot of these guys loathe Daniel Snyder and enjoy taking shots at him. But who can blame them if they're skeptical? Look at our record.

Wow, this thing is ridiculous. Philly at #2? Buffalo at #4? The Jets at #11? The Bengals at #24? Unbelievable.

I'm surprised too, the Jets should be higher. 2 months ago he had the Jets at #4(this was after all the defections), they lose one meaningless preseason game and they drop to 11? Oh well, rankings are fun but meaningless.

Redskins will be down there in all of them. Why? Every year is promise that runs empty, we have a unproven QB, and a tough schedule.

agreed. we don't deserve respect until we prove it. Otherwise, we're just overrated. I think we'll climb some, but we have a lot of questions unanswered. I hold back judgment on the rankings until after Sat. Hopefully, I'll be able to see the game out here in KY, but I doubt it.

Hope the players see how many view them and use it.

Jake Plummer will prove to be one heck of a free-agent move, and the aggressive approach on defense will help.
It's things like this that bother me. I don't think Plummer is better than Griese and yet the this a "heck of a free-agent move." And I don't buy that Plummer was hurt by not having a good support team, but I have never been impressed with him and I can't imagine that the Broncos will be #15. Maybe by season's end we will trade places with them.

I sent Prisco an e-mail about having the Bills up that high. Hell the Giants are better than they are. The Bills lose Price and get a few defensive players and all the sudden they are 4th? Come on, that's presuming that both Reed can replace Price and Travis Henry will repeat what he did last year. Both are stretches to me.

I'm slightly offended about the skins position. I like it though, because when we do well, we'll hear the "who knew?" This season will be a bust if we do not win 10 games. We have MAJOR talent. The only position not getting better is the DL, EVERYTHING else is MUCH better. We had the best offseason of all the teams, and it will show.
Buffalo should not be there, their offense will be suspect, and the defense did not get "THAT" much better.
I disagree about Plummer. When he's excited and happy, he plays VERY well. He can lead a team. I've heard it all before (the number of #1 picks on the line etc), fact is, this guy can play. And Shannahan will teach him a thing or two about being happy and a team player.
How about this key ingrediant...A REAL RUNNING BACK...IN FACT, TWO OF THEM!

Higher? The three other teams in the AFC East should be above them, for starters. I'll be surprised if the Jets go 8-8 this year.

I agree, Jake Plummer will make Denver a better team, I have been a Griese fan also but I think Jake will take Denver up a notch.

I couldn't agree more.. Finally someone who will take the Redskins goggles off and see the team for what they are. Offseason wonders....

I don't have a problem with where the Skins are ranked. These preseason rankings have been burned before by placing us up there. They're meaningless anyways but Prisco looks like a schmuck for some of his rankings.

these rankings wont win or lose games for anyone. its all specualtion. like nyjunc said , its fun but i dont take them personally. whats even more ridiculous was prisco's top 50 players list....

Who cares where the team is ranked? Half these media idiots have no clue about what's going on with most teams. They just read blurbs from other idiots and put their twist on them. The only thing it could possibly be good for is if the players use it as motivation which I doubt they'll bother with.
