This is for anyone who is a fan of the University of Kansas basketball program.
It is apparent that the coaching staff at Kansas obviously has no clue about how to lead highly touted basketball players to a first round victory in the NCAA tournament.
First, Bucknell Bill (a.k.a. Bill Self) suggested last year that his team lost to Bucknell because the players whom he inherited from Roy Williams were too soft and lacked talent.
He then got his "own" players, put their relatives on KU's payroll and squeezed out a bunch of the players from the prior regime. Well, having his "own" players did not work. This week, Bill Self has added yet another nickname to his impressive personal collection -- Bradley Bill.
It is crystal clear that it is not the players who are making the once-proud Kansas program the laughingstock of college basketball. It is the coaches who are ruining this program.
If you are a true Kansas fan, you should be embarrassed that your coaches are so inept. Here is your chance to make a meaningful contribution to the KU program that we all used to respect and love.
I am auctioning a special booklet containing helpful coaching and life advice that I think will improve coaching skills of Kansas' basketball coaches. Perhaps they will lead Kansas to a first round victory in our lifetime if they pay attention to my valuable lessons.
Here are some of the pearls in the booklet that I think will help Bill Self & Co.
No. 7. Try to stay at one school long enough to see at least one of your recruits graduate, transfer or flunk out.
No. 11. Don't say or insunuate your players are "soft" or "unmotivated" just because they were recruited by the prior regime.
No. 14. Don't try to take credit for the achievement of the players you abandoned that came after your departure. You and Matt Daugherty had nothing to do with the success.
No. 17. Lose the hi-low offense.
No. 19. You can't win a big basketball game with 5 wing players.
No. 25. Yes, you are actually responsible for making half-time adjustments. That is your job. Try it. You may actually win a game or two in the NCAA tournament.
P.S. I will donate the proceeds from this auction (minus my costs) to the charity of your choice in your name.
