Who's Going on Saturday?

I don't know if this has been mentioned on the forum or not.... But, who's going to the game on Saturday? I will be there with 4 other 'Skins fans (my brother, cousin and 2 other buddies).... I went to the preseason game against the Panthers a year ago and, albeit was an exibition game, I had a time razzing a few of Carolina fans. :-) Hey! It was all in fun. hehehehehehe

Whether, it's preseason or not, I hope to see Redskins fans in full force (as, last season).... Basically, I want ('Skins fans) to take over Panthers/Ericsson or "whatever the heck you wanna call it" Stadium.... And, hopefully, we can all duplicate it when the Redskins return to Charlotte in November.... I hope to meet a few of the forum members this season.... Only 4 more days to see the "burgundy and gold" in action. Football is finally here! lol


P.S. I'm also going to the game in Atlanta in week 2.... I have a brother who has been a HUGE Falcons fan since the late 70's and he's been talking MAJOR trash for the past couple of months.... And, I would love nothing more than for the 'Skins to wipe the (new) dome turf with Vick and Falcons.... I'm going to be there making PLENTY of noise and hope many, more 'Skins fans will be there doing the same.... My brother claims that the 'Skins fans will only make up 5% or less in attendance for the Falcons game.... I told him, "He's nuts!!" Fans has many ways to get their hands on tickets and he'll be suprised by the 'Skins following and fan base.... I believe "we" will make up about 20%-25% of the attendance.... "Hail to the Redskins!!"

Have a good time. I was at last years game in Charlotte too. I was the only Redskins there with a retro jersey. Atleast I didn't see anyone else with one. They hadn't been released to the public except at TC in Carlilse.

Did you happen to see Ric Flair talking it up on the Redskins sideline? He talked to D. Green, B. Smith, L. Arrington, and a couple of others. I thought he was a Redskins fan.....turns out he's big Gators fan....oh well. It was still cool to see him on the right side of the field! lol

You shouldnt have much trouble getting a ticket at face value or better on the street before the game if you want to chance it. They will also be much better seats than you can get from the ticket office. Many PSLs are owned by businesses and tickets usually are plentiful especially in preseason.

Yes I will be in attendence on Saturday and also I am going to the Atlanta game as well. My supervisor is a huge huge Falcons fan and we are going to the game together.
He has been talking about that Falcon stuff for months now, about how Mike Vick is gonna trounce all over the Skins. I talked my share of smack too.

Thanks Rob. I was actually thinking about that....I just need to decide if I want to go or just watch the game on TV. I don't really like pre-season games. Its not the same. Since I'll be at the game on Sep. 21st, I may skip this one.....not sure yet though.

They have been announcing on radio stations in and around Charlotte that there are very few tickets left. They are expecting a sellout. Hopefully 50% of the fans will be wearing the burgandy and gold.

Thats true. There were only about 300 left last week after Fanfest the Panthers scrimmage at the stadium. They actually had a promotion where you could buy 2 tickets for $40.00 or the price of 1. Remember that PSL tickets account for over 90% of those in the stadium. For a preseason game on Saturday night the weekend before school starts lots of folks will be out of town and lots of those tickets will be on the street.

i will be there for the game in atlanta as well. me and 2 of my brothers will be there. i cant wait to put on all my skins gear and give the falcons fans an earful of hail to the redskins!! we'll be making plenty of noise too, and im not worried about any fights breaking out because my brother is a bodybuilder! he's got a website too if noone believes me! lol

thanks carmike. we are flying down so i wont be stopping thru NC. my brother does have an extra ticket, but i believe he has plans for it unfortunately. i do want to make a sign for the game though. i believe we are sitting pretty high up at the georgia dome, but there are no bad seats in that place. got any ideas for a sign??
