I have been a David Blaine fan for a long time, but I'm wondering if he is ever going to do another strait magic special.

I recently discovered the Korean magacian, Cyril Takayama (http://www.youtube.com/results?search=cyril+Takayama&search_type=search_videos), and I just wanted to share. Most of his stuff is strait Blaine ripoffs, but some are just so damn good.

Ripping apart a bill and putting it back together. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vdgnk1FKyNk&search=cyril%20Takayama)

Amazing sleight of hand with coins. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_AYC7ro1Gk&search=cyril%20Takayama)

Pulls a hamburger out of a menu, eats a bite, and puts it back (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lyAg7MZ336Y&search=cyril%20Takayama)

Popping popcorn in a bare hand. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1lzGgw34f8&search=cyril%20Takayama)

Throwing a card through glass and making it stick to the other side. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3bhn_oeW8Y&search=cyril%20Takayama)

Same as last, but with a window on a glass-bottom boat. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNcAqDADb-g&search=cyril%20Takayama)

He goes to a resturant and ends up passing a salt shaker through the glass table. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAkC0U4L-n4&search=cyril%20Takayama)

Messing with people on old-age makeup. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61gnE6bSTg4&search=cyril%20Takayama)

As a professional magician, it's my duty to inform you to be careful as to what you believe when you see these street magicians perform. Just understand that you would never see these effects performed, as you see them now on video, the same in person. You might be less, oh, impressed, if you were standing there.

That's all I'm saying.

Have any of you ever watched that Mindfreak tv show with Chris Angel? That's some trippy stuff! And he does a lot of it with one camera take, so if they're fakin' it (and I'm sure they are) they're fakin' it pretty good.

Criss Angel can do nearly all the tricks you see on TV in person. He is the Academy of Magical Arts' Magician of the Year for 2005.
