Who wins the series?

I would like your honest opinion on who you guys think will win the Cowboys/Redskins series this year. Will we split, will the Cowboys start on a new win streak OR with the Skins start a streak of thier own?

Personally I think the Cowboys will start a new streak (no bias here.......hehehe). I base that largely on Bill Parcells alone. He will have the Cowboys ready to play week in and week out. There will be no mental break downs for the boys this year.

I foresee a split. The Skins will probably be the better team overall, and have the better record, but there's always trouble come the Dallas games....

I think a split is in order. We always and I do mean always find a way to mess up against Dallas.

We are sweeping them this year...no doubt. I highly doubt the Cowboys QB and WRs can make a dent in our secondary.

Acknowledge that Parcells is a superbowl level Coach, however it seems to me that he struggles in his first year with a new team.
Also, I am still not sold on this "buddy - buddy" relationship between the Coach and Jerry Jones - .:smash:

If winning right out of the gate eludes Parcells, then Jones may change his public face towards the Coach and we all know the hell that can play on a team.
That said: The 'Skins sweep the Boys!

I agree with the sweep... cant see much talent on the Cowboys to prevent that. In fact... ESPN listed them as the #2 BUST for 2003.

I think that the atmosphere is prime for a sweep. I am ONLY basing this on the observation that the Skins seem to be gelling well as a team. There's good team chemistry, competitiveness on offense, but especially on defense. That kind of attitude wins games.

I don't see that livel of cohesiveness with the Cowboys.

THAT SAID, the Cowboys bring everything they have when the play the Skins. Historically (at least in recent history), they go all out for 60 minutes and don't stop until the final gun. If we don't respect, match or surpass that intensity, then the Cowboys will sweep us.

Easy it's going to be a sweep on the way to a 13-3 or 12-4 season. And as for Parcells. He is not the greatest thing since sliced bread, he is not God's gift to the Cowboys. Sure he's a good coach, but even the best coach has to have someone that is good enough to win, he isn't the one playing the game.

SSSWWEEEEEEEEEEPPPPP! of course thats my opinion right now, id like to see how we play first though. if we arent up to par, we will at least split, they wont sweep us.
