Sounds like another vet getting the Andy Reid shaft again:D This team is not going to have any vet leaders and McNuggett will have alot more people coming at him without a good, proven Rb and not much in WRs. Oh well sounds good to me

Is it too much to hope that the Eagles have peaked and will start to decline this year? Teams are usually only good for 3 year runs in the era of Free Agency and their defense has already started to lose some good players, i.e. Barber (former Skin) and Douglas.

This all sounds like deja vu with the Eagles and Trotter... Reid needs to come down a few levels and stop shooting all of his vets (except McNabb or else this will hurt him some day...)

I bet the Bucs would love having Deuce...

Deuce would be a great fit here, IF we needed a back

Duece isn't going to be cut. Reid isn't that dumb. If Duce was cut today, he'd be in Tampa first thing the next morning. I don't see what his problem is anyways. He has been paid good, especially for an average rb like himself. He knows he won't be the starter next year so why would he want an extension?

Maybe that's why he wants out. There aren't many teams out there with the luxury of being able to put a player like that on the bench. Expect the Pats, Bucs and maybe even the Cowboys to be involved. Duce would have been a great signing if we weren't backed up at RB.

Thats the thing.... Duce knows Buckhalter is just as good as he is and Bucky is a lot younger. I'd just rather have the two playing instead of one.

I could see Parcells snatching up a guy like Duece if he were to be shopped around. They've got absolutely nothing down in Big D. Hambrick is way average. I don't know if the Bucs can afford the Duece. If he were affordable, the Skins should look into it. Sure, we've got 4 already. Four unproven guys.

I dont know... I hate to see us picking up all of Philly's discarded trash.

As much as I love to see Philly sort of fall apart, I hate to see players not fulfilling contracts that they signed...

kffl was reporting earlier that the Bears are very interested in Staley. Said they were going to wait to see how their two current RBs do this preseason. I know the one, A-Train Anthony Thomas. I can't remember the other RBs name that plays for the Bears.

I would be very surprised to see the Eagle be willing to shop him to Dallas since they are in the same division. Its not like guys are FA and go to other teams in the same division. Just wouldn't be a smart move since they would play each other twice a year.

They wouldn't get much more than a mid level draft pick for staley. Why give him away this year and help someone else out? He'll be back once he finds out the eagles won't give him anything.
